"Went last night 26/2. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. Not sure if true Vietnamese but generous serves. Should have sat outside to appreciate the view. Decor was tasteful, service a little haphazard. Overall though will go again."

"I was so excited to try Dejavu after learning of its approach to food and reading the reviews. It was my must try on our two week visit to WA. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The reviews on here are baffling: maybe people are just so excited to finally have dedicated plant based restaurants that they love everything on the menu? Or perhaps they are tired of baked beans and hummus? We tried several dishes so as to enjoy a variety of vegan offerings and also the tapas style lends itself to this type of eating. The Psychedelic Veggie Rice Paper Rolls with star anise and anise myrtle aioli were very small, and so cold the flavour of the filling was lost. The aioli however, was delicious.The Fireballs - Coconut and jackfruit pakora with chilli jam, were lovely and hot and the highlight of the dishes we tried.The Grilled Vegetable skewers with Native Macadamia Satay were barely grilled. Nothing more unpleasant than raw red onion and barely cooked chunks of zucchini. Check out my photos if you don't believe me. The satay sauce was delicious.The Secret Spiced Sweet Potato Fries with Lemon Myrtle Aioli were generally unpleasant; with hardly one looking like a proper fry and some having burnt ends. Again, check out my photo. The Lemon Myrtle Aioli was tasty.We also tried the Rosemary Sliders with BBQ shredded Jackfruit lemon Myrtle Aioli and Red Slaw. The bread was cold and stodgy. The jackfruit and filling was done well. The Dejavu seeded rosemary damper with house smoked garlic and plant based parmesan the other highlight of the night, along with both the desserts we tried.Wine by the glass in WA borders on being mean and this establishment was no exception. Service was extremely keen and the dishes came out perhaps a little too efficiently. Would I go back? Yes I would. Businesses all about plant based eating are to be supported. I guess I am just disappointed as I was expecting really, really great things. That said, I am sure they will iron out the few issues they do have (nothing I have mentioned here is unfixable) as their entire concept has amazing potential and is the way forward for dining."

"I had a birthday celebration here with 14 people, Plenty of space and staff were very accommodating they even brought out a dessert with a candle and sung happy birthday and took group photos for us! The food was also very good and reasonably priced and served vegan and vegetarian options for us. The best part was BYO and it was only $3 corkage per bottle of wine or 50 cents per beer we headed out to close by bars afterwards so it worked perfectly. Thanks again for a great night!"

"I have the highest pizza, it was a kind of average quality and taste, but the fact that it is open until 3 o'clock on a Sunday night and menulog delivery do that late, I really appreciated it next time I would probably get extra pfefferoni!"
