"OK if you look at my reviews, I don’t just trash a place. Especially small local places. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I went here for takeout dinner. I ordered day special prik khing curry with side of spring rolls. The spring rolls were soft and not very good. They gave me the curry with no rice. When I called them later to tell them that, they said the curry doesn’t come with rice, and you have to order rice separately. Would’ve been smart of the lady taking my order to have told me I would need to order rice as well. The curry was bland. Overall, I spent $30 got some mushy spring rolls and beans with six shrimp."

"Meow sic to my ears! Dark red walls, black leather booths, and jazz music? Are we in New Orleans? Jazz Cat has been my go to spot for 15 years, and they continue to paw sitively fill my belly with their feline tastic hot pots. Their satay BBQ sauce is absolutely clawsome, packed with flavor with the right balance of oil to sauce that will have your taste buds dancing a meow tang. Also, their spicy sesame sauce it's like a jazz cat improvising on the spot, taking your tongue on a spicy ride mix it with the satay to blow your mind! Their broth is always consistent, never fur getting to pack a punch of umami. I remember going to the original location on Valley Blvd, and let me tell you, it was the cat's pajamas. The place hasn't lost its touch, like a cat that always lands on its feet. As for drinks, it's a one stop shop because they have alcohol (beer and wine) and a full milk tea menu. Jazz Cat is the purr fect spot for a meow nificent hot pot experience."

"Family and I walked in, it was empty except for two people sitting in a far desk talking to each other. I thought they were customers at first so I didn 't pay much attention to them. Waited for a bit until we decided to poke our head in the kitchen and get the staff 's attention. He yelled at the other guy at the table for something, forgot what and then realized it was staff too. The two staff talking at the table didn 't even know we were here. Anyway... You order from a tablet and it has English and Chinese. Small selection of items, but I thought most of the portions were decent. Big plate of bean thread noodles and the thick noodles. The napa cabbage weren 't cut into smaller pieces and I had to break them up into small pieces by hand. They really should cut them into quarters at least because each leaf was too big. Beef slices could be cut into smaller slices too. Bone broth soup was good.I ordered spinach as well and after about five or ten mins of already eating, they told us they ran out of spinach. Like really? The staff talking to each other could 've gone out to buy some at least, but no they were busy talking and doing their online math homework instead to bother helping. This isn 't a college study and homework session place. The beef balls and cheese fish balls were too small portion. Booth seat was not as comfortable. Back rest too far from table and you kind of just slide off the edge. The service honestly kind of killed the experience. This place also offers noodle dishes and half grill and half hot pot option. There is also a sauce bar. The sand tea sauce made me chuckle. It 's supposed to be Taiwanese shacha/satay sauce. This place was more Chinese than Taiwanese."
