"Local tennis club that has been around for a while and has been nice renovated in recent times. Offers two dinning areas and nice outdoor area. Great family feel to the place, and always raffle or pokie promotions most nights. My kids loved the vending machine and staff are so friendly and didnt mind them running back and forth to it. Must try the chinese bistro. One of the best satay chickens ive had, my wife loves the sizzling garlic prawns. Definitely one of our favourite places to spend our night off cooking."

"The Melton Hotel is a regular haunt of mine (close to work, and to where I used to live). The restaurant in here is run by a very friendly team, who prepare very tasty meals at a great price.In particular, the Chinese meals are excellent; the satay chicken is a personal favourite!I have taken my family here, but you need to be careful about the timing if you are going to be there with kids for dinner: on certain evenings you'll find lingerie waitresses walking around, which can be a bit awkward if you're there with your teenage boys.The food is popular enough that you might have a hard time getting a seat if you turn up in the middle of the dinner rush (fortunately, they do takeaway too), but on the whole, this is a great place to sit for a cheap and tasty meal, and watch the footy with a few mates."
