"Individual hot pot ftw! There isn't a lot in the bay area, most of the hot pot places are family style but I really started liking this when I was down in southern california where there are plenty of individual hot pot places. For those that know, it is very reminiscent of boiling point. It's cheaper at $11-13 per hotpot because usually getting family style hotpot is expensive and typically costs twice the amount per person. H.I.T Hotpot.Ice.Tea in case you didn't know. So you can get hotpot, shaved ice, and tea in one place! Right now if you check in, you can get a free tea or ice (one per table . I really liked their jasmine green tea! It was refreshing, sweet, and fragrant. This makes me more hopeful for their other drinks : I picked the shacha beef hotpot because i really shacha (it's chinese bbq satay sauce . Unfortunately, I felt the broth was a little underwhelming. The shacha flavor wasn't really there and I had to ask for extra sauce to put in. I also asked for more shacha sauce for dipping because their dipping sauces were okay. Overall though, I did enjoy the hotpot. I thought it was really filling and they gave a decent amount of beef and sides. I also tried their popcorn chicken which wasn't all that good. You're better off getting it at your local boba shop. Their chicken was tasteless and not crispy. In terms of service, it was a little bit of a struggle. The waiters/servers didn't really speak english that well and so it was a lot of pointing at the menu for me. They were pretty attentive though but that's probably because there wasn't anyone else there when I dined. It's a really asian shop so I didn't really expect too much from customer service... but their shop is really trendy, clean, and modern so that's a plus for me!"

"I’ve headed to this place several times for both lunch and dinner. We enjoyed dishes such as Thai iced tea along with appetizers like mango salad, roti, and for main course we had chicken rendang and Sarang seafood. Will return for lunch or dinner if nearby."

"You won't be disappointed. The laska was similar to the one I tasted in Singapore. They have great vegetarian and vegan options here. The rice rolls we got as appetizers were so refreshing. It's usually busy during lunch. So factor in some wait time when going."

"This is a review of their food to go. I got their Chinese burger with lamb and the tomato egg noodles. I like the burger. Personally , it felt small for a meal so I would eat one and a half of them as a meal. The tomato egg noodles, on the other hand, were plentiful. There were more tomato egg than I could finish in a meal. I pretty much divided the order into three meals after finishing the noodles I ate it with rice! One thing that stood out about Thousand Tasty is that they added a thick cardboard piece at the bottom of the to go bag so that the food would stay upright and wouldn't fall over I'm during a long and bumpy car ride. Prices were fair and was was, well, tasty!"

"At first I was skeptical to come here. Why do you go so far (I am from Cupertino) to hot pot if we just ranch 99 and buy our own ingredients, for half the price? Grudgingly, I decided to go. After 10PM is happy hour, so price was $12.99 for all you can eat. When I arrived, I was greeted by the abundance of marinated lamb, Satay with vinegar, soy sauce, green onions, garlic, the works! Excitingly, I've blown up marinated beef, chicken, lamb, fish, pork, toes-boo-lah, fish balls and quickly brought it back to my table. I was so hungry and so eager to eat that I began to shake everything in the water and spread all the meat on the foil. With the juices that went out of the flesh, I literally salivated on my mouth when I pulled it from the foil into the satay sauce and finally into my mouth. Hot Pot City is about quality and quantity, and I definitely have enough of both. * Be careful, not more than you can chew because they will overload you $3.00! This has made me eat my “extra” meat, which has caused me to clean out almost everything!"

"The food was fine but the serving sizes were very big. If you could not take it home (like is as we were traveling), it was wasteful. The atmosphere was interesting, with 3 large and bright TVs dominating the room. If you like what is on you will be fine."

"Regular here for the past 20+ years (yeah I'm old school). Food is still the same, if not better. Sure prices have gone up but what do you expect? They pretty much know my order as soon as I sit with tea and water immediately brought to the table. Tung Kee is the spot especially when it's cold and rainy!"
