"We came for a happy hour as it was recommended as one of the top in dc for a Sunday. we were slow and missed happy hour, but are so glad we left. we have spit from the Natural History Museum to here and it was worth it. the drinks were delicious and the food was fabulous. we had the thun fishtar, steak fries and local greens. we finished with the vanilla cream brûlée with Rhabarb-compot. that was delicious. my friend is on a low fodmap diet and they did a great job that didn't hit a wobble and garlic restriction. I would recommend bar charley to everyone."

"Instead of taking your kids to a horror movie, go here. You get the same scare. The chicken was dry, the cookies almost cracked my teeth, and oh not to mention, my friend got FOOD POISONING! There was water in the bathroom floor, and it smelled gross."

"Overall, the experience was pleasant and enjoyable. The food was very tasty and the service was prompt. My only complaint was the appetizers were not very hot but we did fine outdoors and that could have played a roll. I recommend the crab fried rice and any of the cocktails!"

"Went here for dinner. Place was packed which is always a good sign ; . Ordered two appetizers a tapioca wrapped chicken and sausage. Both were awesome. Eat the chicken with chilly served with it for full experience of the flavors. Ordered a maki and papaya curry chicken for entrees. Again both were superb. Service awesome too, they explained the dishes well and helped with the order. Portions are on larger side so can be shared between two. Overall experience was very good, will definitely recommend this place."
