"My wife is Singaporean and we love and know what authentic Thai food is. It was our first time there two nights ago as our friends have been raving about it. The menu is very comprehensive with a good selection. We ordered Thai shrimp fishcakes, Pad Kra Pao with pork, Pad Medmamuang with chicken (it is the stirfry dish with cashew nuts) Fried Fish with mango sauce, chicken wings, plain Kangkong (Wasserspinat in German) with thai chilli paste. All were delicious except for the stir fry cashew nuts dish which we felt another Thai restaurant Longgrain was much better. The overall quality of the food also pales in comparison to Longgrain (another favorite of ours) and we felt the quality of Ratchada was more comparable to Krua Thai, another authentic Thai Imbiss or eatery that we also liked, albeit we paid much higher prices as it was a restaurant. The fish dishes are a lot more expensive than longgrain as well. Ambience wise, it was more traditional Thai with karaoke. The desserts especially the Thai sticky rice with mango was WAY overpriced at 10,50 Euro. We were already thinking that Longgrain at 8 euros for the same dessert was already way overpriced, Ratchada took it to the next level with pricing. All in all, I will still recommend it if you want authentic thai street food in a restaurant setting, albeit at much higher prices."
