"Wij dronken slechts cappuccino here (the goed was), maar were vooral gecharmeerd van de locatie van het kleine terras: aan de middeleeuwse market met (as enige) uitzicht op het mooiste gedeelte daarvan. naast het terras gangen nog de handboeien aan de muur, as a vorm van openbare straf. in niet bijzonder."

"After a stage at the Moselsteig we used the opportunity to visit Bernkastel-Kues. At noon a vegan little thing would be nice that we thought and returned to the Cafe Spatz that we had met in advance. Finally, drink a vegan milk coffee and tea. The burger, next to salad unfortunately (still) the only vegan food on the map, was very tasty and is absolutely recommended. A crispy homemade multi-grain bunker, covered with a mueslibrate, leaf salad, tomatoes, inlaid cucumber slices and thin pepper rings, gives a very good vegan burger. The sweet-sharp sauce tasted very good. A great challenge is the consumption of the burger. This doesn't work so well with knives and forks, but because the burger is much filled, it's also difficult to get out of hand. The homemade white cabbage salad was very delicious as a supplement, it would also have been possible to frites or sweet potato frites. We were glad to have found this vegan option. Absolutely delicious, we like to come back!"

"We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon to have a late lunch. The terasse was perfectly located to enjoy the last sun of the day. We decided to try the stroganoff with mustard sauce served in a frying pan. This was a great choice! The meat was well cooked and we were very positively surprised. On top of this the male waiter was very funny joking with the guests as well as quick and service minded. This is absolutely not common in tourist traps like Bernkastel. We will definately go back and advise you to try it out as well!"
