"I have been visited Towan and Soban many times from long time ago, but not pleasant experience from every visit, I don't want to go there again. Food is ok but the lady owner is not acceptable anymore. She shows customers with baby very unpleasant...face. She asked my aunty once not to bring her baby to her restaurant. Since then, my aunty never goes back to this restaurant, but I still had a few more chances to go with other friends or other family members. She never say hello or thank you. How can you not say thank you over the counter when customer pays??? She snatched cash or credit card without saying anything every time. My husband loves chinese-korean food but we don't go there even though this restaurant is the easiest option for us just because of her. She needs to think about her attitude but I think it will be hard to get changed. The business still goes well regardless her rudeness. So shameful."

"I personally think that this is the best Phó place in chatswood, the broth had strong flavours and was quite nice, but unfortunately the broth had obvious MSG making me quite thirsty.Lots of people are in the restaurant and seems quite popular compared to all other Phó places in chatswood."

"At the food court in the center of mandarin. pho is a strong taste soup with generous amount of nudel. $11 for pho is not excessively pricy, but very small crumbled. 5-8Bleaves on stems Thai basilikum are in suppe, no coriander. I don't use it, but there's no lemon wedge. bahn mi is in order, but $6.50 is something above the price."

"Didn't feel like cooking or going to one of our usual Asian restaurants (of which Chatswood has oodles), so my husband found 'O Crab on Railway Street. No, it's not where you'd expect it to be, in the middle of 'eat street' or at the Interchange end; it's tucked away up some stairs beneath a residential building on the northern end nearer Pacific Hwy. It wasn't terribly encouraging when we walked in and we were only the 2nd table (Thurs night so should have been bustling). Minimalist decor, echoey room with wooden floors but as we were looking for something different we weren't deterred. And after all, if we had difficulty finding it and we've lived in Chatswood for over 30 years, no doubt others had the same problem! No rosé on the wine list but I'm used to that, so I ordered a margarita. My husband ordered one of the many craft beers on the menu. Then I saw seafood chowder on the menu and was overjoyed; it's hard to find a good one of those in Sydney! So 2 chowders, sweet potato chips and hubby had a crab burger. The food arrived very promptly; the chowder served like a blast from the past in hollowed out round loaves. It was thick enough (my favourite peeve is thin 'chowder') and pretty good, although it was a little light on the seafood bits. However I tucked in with relish and did enjoy it. Hubbie's burger was rather strangely served all jammed in with the chips in a small oval-shaped red plastic 'cradle'. Actually, if he ate burgers the usual way, with his hands, it would have been fine, but trying to use a knife and fork with that set up was problematic. However, he didn't mind at all and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were halfway through our chowders before the drinks arrived but the waitress was very sweet and apologetic for that. All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner and I sincerely hope people get to know where they are so they can survive. It would be heaps of fun with kids too, so we intend to take the 3 grandkids at Xmas when they're here."

"Hawker Lane brings you all the charm of a local asian lane full with the hustle and bustle of food stalls but all within the luxury of the indoors. This"

"Passed this restaurant quite a few times and it's always looked full. I made a booking for Thursday evening last week and was surprised that the restaurant was so quiet! The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful with the menu.

My friends and I ended up ordering the Panang Curry with Roasted Duck, Chicken Pad Thai and Veggie and Tofu Pad Prik Sod. We also ordered Thai Milk Teas and a couple of Roasted Rice Teas.

All the food that came out was pretty decent, the Panang Curry was a little light in texture, but the flavour was great and the duck was also cooked well. The Pad Thai was pretty standard. The Pad Prik Sod was okay, but I might try it with a meat option next time to see if it's any better. The Thai Milk Tea was pretty good, but nothing special. I quite liked how they had Roasted Rice Tea on the menu.. even though it's not exactly a Thai thing.

We ended up paying just over $20 per person which I found to be very decent! I'd recommend if you're close by, but it's nothing to travel far for. The staff are also very accommodating which added to the very enjoyable experience."

"One of the thing that I really miss about working in Chatswood is being able to come to Chum Tang for lunch. A Thai girl at the office got us to come here one lunch time & proceeded to ordered a brunch of dishes for the group, every dish we had were smashing, and since then I've been hooked. Nowadays, I only get to come get the occasional takeaway. Maybe cause it's takeaway rather then freshly served & eaten, quality seems to drop a little. Our chicken Pad Kee Mao & spicy crispy pork belly with rice were good, but the noodles & chicken were a bit dried, and their weren't too many pieces of the pork belly. Still good & will return on occasions."
