"The freshest oysters served on a bed of ice with soy sauce and lime. Perfect! We also had chicken cafreal and chicken xacuti both of which were spicy and lovely. We also had simple goan fish curry. While the taste of the food was to our liking the quantity of meat in each dish was comparatively small. What stands out though is the service. We sat there for hours, from lunch through dinner! At lunch we were sitting inside, and for dinner they set up a table outside by the sea, and as the tide came in, they kept adjusting the table to stay out of water. They were attentive, and the only shack accepting credit cards! Which at times of demonetization was a huge relief! In comparison the other shacks were not only lazy about accepting credit cards, but also in their service and the taste of the dishes was horrible. Very happy to have found Baltons on the last day, only wish we had discovered it on the first!"

"The red ingwer has a beautiful ambiente. it has beautiful statues and a high deck and a beautiful large seat. service is also good. we ate vegetarian here suppe, noodles, manchures and it was decent. they did not have many options for vegetarian, so. that was a bit of a bummer. overall we had a decent time here."

"We went here for their burgers but was expecting more of the restaurant, it was dark and dirty outside with dogs lying all around the tables. We braved the scary stairs to the ac area upstairs. I ordered a Hamlot burger which wasn't actually a burger but just slices of ham, nevertheless it was quite tasty but not so good value for the 'burger' and a few chips. Our friend ordered spaghetti bolognese for her kids but it was too spicy for them to eat."

"The main problem with hotel restaurants (if they are not run by a designated chef) is that they are so often only used by hotel residents and (then) above all for breakfast. that is rarely the basis of rest and recognition. but the vivo is (or should be) the exception to this rule. first, it is open hours during the day and it is possible to use well-prepared meal times and snacks from a wide international menu during this time. the breakfast is unobtrusively an upscale, well-guided international buffet with a selection of cooked food, pastries, chalk and fresh fruit next to local goan specialties. almost any number of breakfast egg-dish is ready to order and the coffee (hot and freshly brewed) deserves special mention as it actually did of good coffee (a rare phenomenome in most hotels). we were particularly impressed by the way the staff with the crappy print that a local high time put on breakfast service probably doubled guests. e did not notice any difference in the quality of the service. happy birthday! as soon as the breakfast is over (it runs until after the clock) the day menu takes over. it is a selection of snacks and main dishes that reflect both the local cuisine and international guests with a wide range of recognizable favorites. our caesar salad was crisp and tasteful and the tandoori chicken starter was moist, well cooked and large enough to make a main dish. in contrast to so many hotel restaurants, vivo really does not deserve to be a place of the last resort if the guests can simply not be harassed to find an alternative. if they are in the opposite, they try. they will be happy, surprised."

"This place is located in Majorda and is easy to find. A good place to visit with your family. This place serves great pizzas, pastas and bruschettas. The pizzas are cooked in an authentic pizza furnace giving this place even more of an Italian vibe. In the pizzas, I always have the mixed pork pizza which lets you taste all the different varieties of pork. The desserts, the Tiramisu is a must have. Overall, a good restaurant to enjoy with friends and family."

"The cocktail Bloody Mary is delicious here. Very few places even have Bloody Mary as an option. After a dip in the beautiful, secluded and pristine Majorda beach, do come here for lunch and drinks."

"We spent a very relaxing two week period with the staff at blue waves beach shack, all making our stay so much more pleasant.The owner Theresa and the boys Rudi, Annan and Zib all really generous with their time and hoped to cater to your every whim :).Food was nearly always excellent, I am sure Rudi wouldn't mind me mentioning that the calamare was just a little overcooked, Just an off day!! But everything else was exceptionally good. The vindalho a must, the butter naan and fish tikka you just got to!!!!Thanks AllMatt N Jane"
