"A quelques km de Gstaad et des Diablerets , ce restaurant d'apparence modeste nous a séduit par la qualité de ses plats à prix raisonnable. J'ai prix une salade qui était très copieuse avec des bons produits régionaux et le café est un "vrai" café d'une bonne quantité. Une bonne adresse dans la région."

"After visiting the pretty Arnensee, we returned to the valley as the Hotel-Restaurant at the lake was closed, and arrived at the Restaurant Cheeserli at 1320hrs. It was a lovely sunny day, and we sat ourselves down next to other guests (English-speaking as it happened) glad to find a pleasant spot. However, when I asked the lady serving if what was available to eat, she curtly said, whilst moving away, that she was not sure and would have to ask the chef if there was time to cook anything. She then consistently ignored us, and dismissed two other families who had arrived at the restaurant, which proudly proclaimed it was open, with the comments that it is too late to eat. Her manner was abrupt, unfriendly and impolite in the extreme. Even if she was the only person serving, she could have explained her situation courteously with an apology. Of such, there was none. Whether such a manner is normally what one can expect at this venue, I do not know. All I can say, is that I would not venture there again unless forced to do so."
