"Ordentliches Essen mit bestem Rindfleisch aus eigener Zucht. Ausgezeichnet waren auch die Brägele, die mittlerweile unsere Favoriten geworden sind. Die Sauce Holondaise war ebenfalls sehr gut. Fleischküchle und Rinderschnitzel sind ordentlich zubereitet. Auch der Service war ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend. Schöne Strausse mit wechselnden Gerichten je nach Wochentag. Ordentliche Küche, bei der man nichts falsch macht."

"Fresh, self-made, fast!! For my taste, Amara has the best meat, badly something fat needs it...is dirty mucus bears! and quality... The price is for quality complete O.K! The staff is friendly and tries to give their best in the often so hectic operation, which speaks for the shop!!! The boss is behind the counter itself and also plays for the shop! "Wie waren aufgrund unseres Urlaubs in der Nähe von Freiburg, bei Le Buffet von Karstadt.Die Anordnung ist mehr oder weniger chaotisch es gibt keine richtig vorgegebene Richtung. Gäste drängen von beiden Seiten um die Kochinsel. Die Preise sind eher im gehobenen Segment, die Qualität des Essens dagegen nicht. Das Fleisch (Putenschnitzel) war zach und sehnig dazu für den Preis von 10 € viel zu klein. Die frittierten Gnocchis waren wie Gummi, kaum genießbar. Bei der Soße (Championrahmsoße) hatte ich eher den Eindruck, gemacht mit Maggi Beutel. Tagesbuffet Preis/Leistung durchwachsen. Eine Wurst vom angrenzenden Markt hätte besser geschmeckt und wäre finanziell auch besser gewesen. Alles in allem keine Empfehlung von mir!Wer nicht wählerisch ist, kann dem Pizza/Döner Laden aufsuchen, schmeckt wahrscheinlich besser als Karstadts Le Buffet."

"I was hesitant to come here because of all the bad reviews but actually this place is one of the best places I’ve been to in Freiburg. We didn’t have a reservation but they seated us anyways. We got something like a street food platter...and a burger and sweet potato fries. The street food platter was huge and more than enough and the burger and fries were amazing. Please note I wouldn’t call this place like “Mexican” authentic but it was “Mexican-American” authentic and they had the spicy nacho cheese sauce to prove it! Also my whisky sour was totally on point and perfect. And our waitress was a gem."

"The vegan falafel there is amazing. They clearly state on the overhead menu what can be veganized and the pricing is the same. The portion sizes are pretty big so the cost is worth it."
