"We stop through Grand Forks frequently on bike trips and decided to finally give this place a go. The feel of the room is cool... a reminder of the good old days with some cool old nostalgic pieces on display and the waitress' poodle skirt etc. We sat at the counter and ordered a burger to share and a side of coleslaw and a milkshake. The milkshake was good the view of the old filthy grill etc... not so much. When the cook dropped off the burger we asked if it could be cut in half... begrudgingly said he'd get us a knife... then the other lady who appeared to be also having a bad day pushed a large bowl and said the cutlery was in there, suggesting we cut a burger with a butter knife I guess. The coleslaw tasted like month old cabbage that had been soaking in vinegar for another month. Hopefully the 'for sale' sign in the window will be taken advantage of, and a fresh owner will be able to give this place the potential it deserves. We'll come back after that and try again."

"The Best Burgers in BC. Winners of a Vancouver Province newspaper poll for the best burger in the province of British Columbia. That is a huge accomplishment for a little place in a small town when you consider all the other restaurants that could have been in that readers poll. These burgers are absolutely addictive. I stop for a Sheila Burger any tiime I get into Grand Forks."

"When I lived in gf during the 70s and early 80s, this was the place to hang on an early Friday or Saturday night before the party. eating was amazing, shakes were amazing. sheila's sauce was excellent. only give 3 stars instead of...5 because the dinge had gone downhill when I came back in the last few years. sad to see that another relic of my youth is gone. I wanted to buy the place at a point, but couldn't put together a deal. Now it's getting underpassed and nobody will remember it at some point. thank you for remembrance."
