"Pris un déjeuner avec la famille (7 personnes). Le repas était moyen avec les crozets au fromage fait avec un sauce et du gruyère qui était un peu décevant. Les saucisses avec les crozets était également un peu trop parfumé. Le gardien et sa famille était très sympa et nous avons conseillé pour la suite de notre promenade. Nous avons laissé les deux petits au refuge pendant qu'on est monté au col de la lune qui donne une superbe vue sur la vallée."

"We are very polite English people and have visited this restaurant over the last 20 years. The proprietor has always been unfriendly and rude, but this year was something else. Our first day we had a late lunch there and asked for no tomato in...two burgers, as both teenagers had server allergies when younger to raw tomatoes and won't even try them now. She said it was to much trouble and to pick them out, which meant them leaving the tops and the cheese. Then we had a booking for 12pm one day, but friends we were meeting because of ski lift times, could not meet us until 10am, so we asked to put our table back the day before by one hour. She thought about it and then said no, it was too much of a bother, so our friend quite rightly so cancelled our lunchtime booking. We had a table booked for the Friday night, but not wanting to risk her just being difficult, we organised a different dinner and when I went in to cancel our table for the Friday night, she said she had cancelled it anyway! I am glad I had the decency to act appropriately. The food is okay, but we will not be spending any of our hard earned money at this place again!"

"We dined at La Table when the menu was restricted to Savoyard only. For our pastis aperitifs we were ushered into the main lounge of the Hotel Alpen Ruitor, which is all in wood, with high ceilings painted with stags and ibex. As seemed appropriate we chose a traditional fondue Savoyarde which was excellent. Unusually we drank red wine with the fondue and enjoyed a very good Fitou. For dessert my creme brûlée was flamboyantly set alight at the table! My partner had the cafe gourmand which had a wonderful array of mini desserts. Altogether a really enjoyable experience!"

"Went here for an evening meal to celebrate New Years.. We all had a great meal. Staff was polite, food was great and atmosphere was spot on. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a traditional les allure experience. Reasonable price too."

I had to rise up voice to have my order. And moreover ask twice in...15 mins to get check. Count your skipass”s price and decide whether you are ready to wait for money."

"We asked Sarah and Eric at Aux Petits Oignons if they could host our wedding reception after their restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Although hosting a wedding was a first for them, we could not have asked for a better experience! Right from the start, Sarah and Eric were warm and welcoming. They were incredibly helpful - not only proposing a delicious menu plus wine for the wedding breakfast, but also making additional suggestions to help us organise our Méribel wedding. Eric even arranged with a local baker to have a wedding croquembouche made for us! On the day, Sarah and Eric, and their staff, were so accommodating - when we arrived at Aux Petits Oignons they had already set up the tables, which were beautifully decorated, they had lit a roaring fire and had champagne at the ready to welcome us! The canapés that Eric had prepared for our arrival were to die for - my particular favourite was the foie gras and mango toast! I can honestly say that the three-course meal that Eric prepared for our wedding breakfast was the best food I've ever tasted. Not only that, Eric managed to serve all of our 34 guests with the most beautifully presented dishes imaginable. All our guests commented about how fantastic the food was, and how lovely all the staff were.Sarah and Eric at Aux Petits Oignons truely helped to make our wedding day unforgettable, and we can't wait to visit their restaurant again next ski season!"
