"While we were staying in the Champagne area we needed somewhere to eat and the options were either to eat in the rather formal chateau next door or to drive into Reims. The other alternative “The local Pub” or Bistro which is not frequented so much by tourists and we took this option. We were welcomed by the owner who was the chef and her colleague who ran the bar - the owner spoke excellent English, her colleague not so good but enthusiastic to try.The food was relatively simple but delicious - I had the terrine and my wife had a delicious tarte made from poached pears and roquefort cheese on puff pastry. She had the chicken and I had the “Pot due feu” - a local dish !This place is to be recommended for its welcome and its food !"
