"We had been to the Cave de Vins at Lugny and found this little Auberge nearby. It was wet and chilly so we could not sit outside at what looked to be decent chairs and tables overlooking the town square. It was comfortable enough inside, with very basic café seating for 30 covers and rather more than half full of people who were obviously locals. There was a menu du jour at 12€ or plat, desert and coffee for 9€, but we both chose oeufs en meurette from the carte. There were plenty of standard things like burgers and pizza available too. The oeufs meurette were very good country cooking, with 3 perfectly poached eggs in a very meaty red-wine gravy. The pastry on the fruit tart for desert was a bit heavy handed but perfectly edible, but we could have done without the chocolate sauce which rather swamped it. We also had a half bottle of pinot noir “Les Épillets” from the local cave, and although this area majors in chardonnay the pinot was very easy to drink.All in all the service was quick and friendly and the meal cheap and edible. We would not go out of our way to return, but might well do so were we in the village again."
