"This restaurant is set on the first floor of the Woden Southern Cross Club. It's well air conditioned on these hot nights and the ambience is up market with tables set well apart and with very nice table settings. Whilst the cocktails aren't the best we'd had, the menu and food were extremely good. It's not the place I'd take young children but it's a great venue for a couples or an adult group night out. The service was good but not great although definitely acceptable and the Thai food was good quality in a great setting. I will definitely be going back."

"Ordered takeaway, honey chicken consisted of batter with no visible chicken, texture was doughy and oily at $22, you'd expect more. Mongolian lamb was chewy. Fried rice was flavourless. Complained about the quality but was assured that it contained chicken breast. Save your money"

"Had friends come down from the city today so thought we'd take them out for a nice lunch.What a mistake it was to choose Margies family bistroIt wasn't at all busy but it still took 50 minutes to get food on the table.....and when it got there it was cold and very disappointing, the salad was warmer than most of the food on the plates.the parmas were stone cold the cheese hardly meltedThe two burgers served with Turkish bread are very impractical to eat if you want to have any teeth left after trying to bit the buns, plastic cheese was a specialty....what is the chef thinking when you can't even use real cheeseAt least the drinks were good ,but then you cant stuff up when it comes in a can or a bottleSad to say here is another lost opportunity for a good restaurant to open up on Phillip Island"

"Decided to attend for lunch one day after sussing out other food options. Went for the roast pork roll for and was presented with a buttered round bun, a few thin slices of pork and to my delight a little bit of crackling. Hint...of gravy and apple sauce was also included. I guess the biggest disappointment I had was the size of the serving, possibly the roll that was served on as well. It was fresh but seeing only a smallish amount of pork been taken off a massive loin didn't present great value for money. You'd do better making a sandwich at home. Seeming inadequate for a full lunch, I decided to get McDonald's meal on the way out as well. I usually get Spitshack and while a few dollars more is a lot more satisfying. I see that it's a busy place and quite loud.. Can be hard to communicate with servers over the rush.. I'd probably go back though as the range of fillings is extensive and the rest of the food court isn't great."
