"I recently received a flyer in the mail for Paoletti Pizza and ordered two pizzas for supper on April 18th 2016. I ordered a Meat Lover's and a BBQ Chicken pizza. I asked for a thicker crust than normal, and did in fact receive a thicker crust on both pizzas. Of note, I've ordered previously from the "Big 3" in Rockland and was definitely interested to compare Paoletti Pizza to the "Big 3". The previously mentioned "Big 3" in Rockland range from good to above average, with a standing offer of "Buy one pizza and get the 2nd at 50% off". The only night this special is offered at Paoletti Pizza is Monday night. As I expressed to the owners, I wasn't concerned with the price or the special, I just wanted excellent pizza. From the moment you pick the pizza boxes up, you can tell there's a distinct difference in the weight of the box. The ingredients are premium, the slabs (slices) thicker than most pizzas I've tried; the cheese is in abundance and the flavour profile is definitely addictive. For the first time since I ordered pizza in Rockland, I finally had a crust that was cooked perfectly. Don't be deterred by the slightly higher price and the lack of a daily discount. The modest price increase is easily justified when you bite into the slabs of pizza. More often than not we rely on coupons to steer our taste buds, in this case I hope you make an exception and give Paoletti Pizza a try. If you're a fan of garlic, I insist you try the homemade garlic dipping sauce."

"This new place, to me, now surpasses Cafe Deslauriers, although very good also. Service is a notch above, food quality and taste also. Better garlic sauce, better potatoes... Chicken is about the same, and you might get better deals at the other place. But Shawarma and Grill is now our go to place in Rockland. We're pretty lucky to have that good of Shawarma joints in a fairly small town. Shawrmas, for the price, is just not worth doing all yourself, I figured that out quickly. Leave it to professionals for the best taste, and encourage them by going often, so they stick around ! Cheers."

"I recently ordered two pizzas from Rockland Pizza, one meat lovers and one combination. I'm only going to compare Rockland Pizza to the two other higher quality pizza restaurants in town, Jumbo Pizza and Paoletti Pizza. Rockland Pizza is decidedly number 3 on this list and there are a number of reasons for that. The primary reason is quality of ingredients. The ingredients used by Rockland Pizza are meant for high volume pizza restaurants. If I draw a comparison to the other two higher quality pizza restaurants in town, Jumbo Pizza uses higher quality ingredients, but the clear-cut winner is Paoletti Pizza. Paoletti Pizza uses premium ingredients, doesn't spare on cheese and has the best crust I've ever tasted on. Rockland Pizza is a family-owned business that's been in business for almost 25 years. You don't stay open that long if you serve poor quality food. I'm certain like most restaurants, they have regular clientele;, I'm just not going to be one of those regulars, based primarily on their quality of ingredients. Crumbled bacon vice bacon pieces, cooked ham vice black forest. Paoletti Pizza is Rocklands premiere choice for pizza and I'm not intending this review to be a plug for Paoletti Pizza, but the true way to review a restaurant is to draw a comparison to a similar style and brand of restaurant.In summary, Rockland Pizza is good, but not great."
