"The server was also the cook, greeted me very graciously and brought my food in a tmely manner. The smooth I had was amazing and the spring rolls were very fresh and we'll made. WiFi was a nice addition too as being so far from home, any connection is welcomed!!"

"Good food, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Cannot ask for anything better than that. Food has been consistently good which encourages going back to this restaurant for more. We have been to this restaurant many times from January and will continue until we arrive home in Canada in April."

"We have eaten at Ava's several times during visits to Melaque in previous years. The new location is less than a block from the old one. Jack said that they now own this location and are no longer renting. It is a nicer place than the old one. We went twice and both times it happened to be rib night. Had ribs both times. They are very good. Nice sauce, falling-off-the-bone tender. Service is good although some of the girls do struggle a bit with English and poor Spanish. Entertainment a number of nights. Drinks a reasonable price as well. Good place to eat and drink."

"Used to love their pizzas when they were up stairs just past Taco Row. Problem was there was never anyone there eating. I guess the same happened on the plaza when they moved. That location is now a woman's fashion store. The great Chef has moved over to Roosters by Banamex if you want his pizza and Italian"

"I was taken to this place by fellow Canadian friends who told me about this nice great place where they served food on hot stones!!!... Boy did i was pleasant surprised!!!... I asked for chicken on a molcajete (which is the stone name in Mexico) and some rice. The waiter arrived with this hot stone pot full of chicken in a nice sauce...It was delicious!!!!... I can 't recommend enough this place!!!"

"Staff were fantastic. This restaurant has been established for a few years with food being excellent from the first day of opening to being consistent and always referred to as one of the best restaurants in Melaque by other tourists. Enjoyed the food, staff and family once again. A real treat!"
