"What a fabulous place to enjoy local cuisine, if you are lucky enough to get a table. A reservation is essential of you want to enjoy the delights of Zue Krone. The maitre de and waitress Konstanz is a whirlwind of efficiency and runs the...busy restaurant with ease and intuition which is marvelous to witness. Patrick the chef turns out delsicious and very generous local meals prepared with skill and flair. We really enjoyed our experience her, enjoying the local seasonal Asparagus menu, featuring the in season whit asparagus. Every course was delsicious and such generousity with the portions we were hard pressed to eat everything offered. It was just so nice we returned again and enjoyed more of the menu and the delicious food."

"We stopped here coming on foot from St. Goar. The view from the restaurant, regardless if on the terrace or inside, is good. There was a bus tour having lunch, but we were served and fed very quickly. Tried two kinds of soup, both good."

"One true gauge of how one feels about a meal in a restaurant is expectation plus experience (either positive or negative). If low expectations are exceeded by far, a happy dining experience results. On the other hand, if high expectation are not met, dissatisfaction reigns. Our lunch at Loreleyblick belonged in that first category.As its name indicates, (Loreley View) the location of the restaurant is perfect for a great view of the fabled cliffs immortalized by Heinrich Heine's poem and the popular folk song. The restaurant looks and feels like hundreds of other places along tourist routes, as does the menu. Since it was Spargel Zeit (white asparagus season) - a time held in almost religious esteem by Germans - we ordered the white asparagus plates with hollandaise sauce and different accompaniments.What was brought to the table were perfectly cooked asparagus in a light, superbly rendered hollandaise, together with new potatoes. A splendid dish, especially when drinking the crisp Koblenzer Pils as an accompaniment. Finishing the generous plates, we were happy and grateful to have stumbled upon such a find - and yes, the view of the Loreley is beautiful (just disregard the giant ugly RV park)."
