"We ate here because we had a buy 1 get 1 free hamburger coupon. Most expensive burgers we 've ever eaten! (My big Mama burger with cheese, tomato, onion and bbq sauce set me back 25Sfr). But for Switzerland par for the course, at least as prices go. Tasty. Good atmosphere."

"We have been here twice and were very happy with the service and quality of the pizza. It is in a really nice spot on the river, so in case of nice weather you must eat outside. Last weekend it was raining so we ate indoors and had two delicious Roman style pizzas. The pizza sauce they use is quite tasty. Reasonably priced too."

"I'm not sure what this other reviewer was on, but me and my group had a great time at the Clock Tower bar. It's a pretty small place so it does get full pretty quick, but you can tell that it's all repeat business. Everyone...seemed to know each other. I tried some of the burger, which was pretty good, but I loved my meat that I got on the hot stone Great sauces came with it and some fresh cut fries. Fries weren't my thing but they were alright. I loved the fact that I could watch the cook make our food. Everything looked really fresh from where I was sitting. It would be nice to get some poutine in Switzerland, but I haven't found it yet. The Swiss eat mayo with their fries. The best part was getting some Molson, they seemed to have a nice selection of Canadian beers, but I stuck with that."

"I you want to experiment the real raclette or cheese fondue experience, this is the place. And if you want to try my favourite Swiss dish, ask for röschti, this delicious potato dish that looks like a big pancake. You can have your röschti served with a piece of beef (entrecôte or filet.) n this case, don't hesitate to ask Jürgen, owner and chef of the Waadtländerstube to prepare one of his delicious red wine sauce to go with it. All that for a very reasonable price. If you are extra lucky, you will witness at the next table some clients singing folkloric Swiss songs (Ländlermusic).Certainly my best Swiss cuisine experience so far."

"Charming Italian service we were recommended dishes and wine to suit our tastes veal Piccata was tender, juicy and nicely browned, a generous portion with a good Rosti and a selection of fresh vegetables at a reasonable price. We noticed during the not unreasonable...preparation time that other customers were just enjoying a good book and a coffee or occupying a table alone whilst reading the paper with a glass of chilled white wine no-one was made to feel they were overstaying their welcome. And a great corner for peoplewatching at the end of the pedestrian Baelliz. We will certainly eat here again, probably at night in the upstairs restaurant."
