"Rajdeep was beyond amazing!Ordered a chicken shawarma that came out very freshly grilled and properly edible and tasty ???She was very professional and interpersonal with her service and it was the best amongst workers I’ve ever seen in awhile, someone promote her or make her the manager!!!She helped me with an issue I had and was still able to serve me at this restaurant, please give her credit where it’s due!"

"I've lived in Timmins all my life and this was the first time I have gone to this restaurant. We had a gift card, so figured why not try it out for a date. It's hidden on the first floor in the Days Inn. Only open from 1700-2200. We were seated promptly and our waitress was friendly and polite.Ambiance is romantic - dimmed lights and candle light. Seats aren't too close together. The actual dining room is quite small, but not overcrowded. Bookshelves for decor , not sure why but it adds a nice touch. Good selection of wine - we just had the typical jackson-triggs cabernet. There are a variety of entrees and appetizers to choose from. We shared a caesar salad and it was plenty. Dressing is creamy and tasty, though the salad could use a little less of it. Fresh bread was brought out as well. Your typical baguette style and a multigrain raisin bread - both were delicious. It took about 40 minutes for our meal to arrive, but it didn't really bother me. The restaurant wasn't overly packed. I chose the house specialty of prime rib - medium - with garden vegetables and yorkshire pudding (Yum!). My meal was excellent and cooked the way I like it. Quite tender and not overly fatty. Only criticism is that it could use some seasoning - didn't seem like it was seasoned at all, but tasted great once I added salt and pepper. Husband ordered seafood linguine with lobster and shrimp. He said everything was awesome and gave it two thumbs up. Finally, we had the creme brulee shared for dessert. Custard not overly sweet. Perfect end to an awesome dinner. Total cost for both of us was $110 + tip. Reasonable all considering and worth the price. Happy to see that Timmins actually has a restaurant we could be proud of and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family (though not recommended for younger children)."

"Always chose Toppers' as my first choice in Pizza. The last few times I had delivery, they did not meet my expectations at all. There has been lack of "cheese" on pizza, an ingredient which i dare say i should NOT have to pay to have extra cheese. Even with paying for extra cheese, we had to add more at home and bake it. I understand saving money but not at the cost of losing customers. I now have switched to another establishment fo my take out pizza! This is not a restaurant but a take out place."

"I mistakenly went here when I got the wrong address for a nearby Chinese food place. I'd read the bad reviews; just didn't notice I'd walked in the wrong door a couple of doors down. The staff were nice, but you go to a restaurant to eat and the food was truly dreadful. Hot and sour soup was sour tasting powdered chicken stock with pieces of stale bbq pork and egg drop; I was just glad I knew it had been boiled recently because I'd be afraid otherwise. Salty, slightly poultry smelling, awful. Shrimp with vegetables - I'll admit, the vegetables seemed relatively fresh. Otherwise, a salt saturated awful pile with tepid shrimp that smelled like the freezer had thawed a couple of times, no spicing to speak of, and a side of steamed rice that was not even steaming. I rarely post a review saying stay away at all costs, but really, this place's food is absolutely appalling."

"I'll start off by saying, that if I marked down a restaurant for not having wifi , I'd consider myself a bit of a loser. I go to a restaurant to eat not surf the net.As for the important stuff, the food. It was great. Large portions, very tasty. I was full for the morning.The service was very prompt and I found the place perfectly acceptable.Keep up the good work Kanellos', I'll be back."
