"This is a family friendly restau which highlights the various pasta dishes it serves.Each of my party really enjoyed the selections that we ordered..all with colourful Italian names. The dishes offered ,go from the classic marinara to all sorts of interesting sauces,one even using raisins!...something delicious and different!You are not limited to pasta dishes as entrees. There are meat and fish dishes too.Something for everyone.The service was friendly and prompt.Testament to its popularity .on a Tuesday night ,the restau was full.I would recommend this place to friends.The pricing for meals was mid-range.A nice evening out."

"Had our last "team dinner" at the end of our gymnastics competition here on a Sunday afternoon, we arrived with a large group and they found a nice section were we could all sit together. The menu had great options for appetizers, and mains, mostly Italian, and there was something for all tastes. We had a pizza, and the portion was plenty for 2 of us. Flavours were good for the sauce and spices, and the thin crust was tasty and cooked perfectly. Our second visit to an Alice Fazooli's, and we wish there was a location out east!"

"This lunch spot would do well in a high-traffic area - a big office building or busy strip mall - but as it is it must rely on the medical centre next door and a few business people that have discovered it. It reminded me of the banquet halls that serve lunch when I worked near Steeles and Weston Rd. It has a nice selection of Italian-influenced dishes served cafeteria style, although I was hoping for Canelloni or Lasagna. My problem, outside and inside, was there was no indication of how to order and how much it cost. The server told me I should order one meat and any two sides. I did so and ended up with much more food than I wanted, and paid a higher price than I wanted – and I really didn't get what I would have wanted. The place was pretty much empty. A few people came in and bought food to go - such as soup I didn't know about. It seems you have to be in-the-know to get the best value. On the plus side, it is licensed and has better decor than similar places."

"No one can beat Amici sauce! Truly homemade Italian Pizza. Their hot sandwiches are delish .large portions too. Wonderful family-oriented atmosphere, hardworking staff, excellent service with great prices."

"I brought my parents to this restaurant two weeks ago. I heard good things about it,but was I disappointed. First of all, I tried making reservations since my parents are older and I didn't want them to have to stand around waiting. I was told they don't make reservations for groups of less than 6. I wasn't to thrilled about this, but decided to go anyway. My mistake. When we arrived, they said it would be about half an hour. It actually took one hour before we got a table. Then, we had to wait at least ten minutes for a menu. I guess the regulars don't need one because they asked us if we wanted one. We did. They brought the menus with a small piece of paper. When I inquired what the paper was for, they told me I had to write down my order. I had to chase a waiter around to ask about some of their items. After finally placing my order, we waited quite a long time for the meal. Which wasn't worth the wait. I read great reviews about the lobster so I ordered it. It was terrible. The black bean sauce was slimy and there was practically no lobster meat. It was all shell. We also ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce, but it was never brought to the table, so I can't comment on that. The Cantonese Chow mein was terrible. The noodles where fried to a crisp, with practically no sauce, so we felt like we were eating chips. The won ton soup was probably the best thing we ate, and it wasn't really that great. All that for $140.00. It was definitely NOT WORTH IT!!!! I would never go back. If you are in the area and want chinese food, stick with Cynthia's. It's 100% better and cheaper!!!!"

"He started working in the opposite and let him go to lunch. I ordered the meatball with hot paprika. the sandwich was great. the meatballs looked almost as big as a 5-pin bowling ball. beautiful simple sose and delicious meatballs. I had the half to lunch and the other half to dinner! definitely worth a visit."

"I had not been to this restaurant for many years as there are many good Chinese restaurants in close proximity. Having said that, my memory was that this had excellent food and was a good Chinese restaurant.We went last night and were highly disappointed. The service was very poor and it was hard to get the waiters attention. He forgot to give us cutlery, took forever to take our drink order, and was generally missing for most of the night. Anytime we wanted something we had to jump up and find him. At the end of the evening he stacked all the plates in front of us on the table, which is something you generally don't do if you know anything about being a waiter.We had hot and sour soup which was OK. We also ordered the pork dumplings which were very good. We had the Szechuan noodles and a cashew chicken dish which were flavourless and just ok. We also ordered the orange beef which was good but not as great as I remembered from 10 years ago.This was generally not a great experience. Maybe the problem is that my tolerance for mediocre Chinese food has gone down given the great restaurants in the area.We will not be rushing back"
