"Would give it a 4.5 if I had the option to because the food was a little too salty. First off, this place is a gem. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet place to enjoy some home cooked style French meals, this is it! We ordered the rabbit stew and sea bass which were excellent, although the stew was too salty for our taste. They give you tasty complementary bread, and the stew came with some green beans which I absolutely loved as a palate cleanser. Their soufflé is a must have! It’s expensive, but it’s something you can’t try anywhere else in the US. It looks enormous but is mostly air inside 2 people can easily finish it so don’t be intimidated by the size like we were. Reservations are a must here. The restaurant is tiny so you will most likely not have any luck with a walk in. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning the service was great. They were very friendly, and I’d definitely come again!"

"Absolutely the most romantic dinner experience my wife and I have had. From the moment we entered the restaurant being greeted by the maître d? and shortly afterwards by the owner. Truly a 5?? Experience that I will never forget. The owner serenaded us with a Beautiful French song and made us fill as if we dinned with them every night with the treatment we received. "I hadn't been here in over 40 years; was surprised that it still existed. This is a true old French haunt; was once quite special and now it's special in that it wears its age as would a vielle dame, faded but still proud in her well worn but cared for habillement. I would recommend this place for a simple, good meal in a place that has survived in a world where so many have failed. There's no pretension here, though there may be a hint of that French hauteur."
