"After a day at a sporting event in the town all day, trying to find a table at for people was always going to be a tall order!! However, I'm glad to say that Le Central managed to accommodate us all. The decor...is quite modern. There is a covered and enclosed area outside, but we were seated inside. The staff were all very friendly and the main waitress/manager spoke very good English thankfully, as our translation skills of the menu left a lot to be desired. The food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly, from the steak that one of the party had to my enormous piping-hot litre of mussels that arrived in front of me in a pot resembling a Henry hoover! The Carpaccio of beef that another person had was arranged in perfect symmetry across the whole plate and was by all accounts as good as it looked. Desserts were equally impressive, looked delicious and received glowing reports from all who had them. The wine was reasonably priced and went down well. If you're in Cabourg then give this place a go, you won't be disappointed."

"Je confirme les précédents avis : pratique lorsque l'on séjourne à l'hôtel Mercure par sa proximité, personnel très agréable, nourriture correcte mais....très peu de choix, un service un peu expéditif et surtout, beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations offertes."
