"Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience."

"Fantastic little spot, great drinks, great service, and I loved the atmosphere. My only complaint was I ordered a burger and it came on an English muffin. It was the most disappointing burger I have ever eaten, it took maybe 3 bites to finish. It looked more like a frozen breakfast sandwich, it was thin, small, and unsatisfying. Long story short, highly recommend this place but steer clear of the burgers."

"That was our second visit to the first eight years ago when I think they were just open. This first visit was so wonderful my wife and I was happy to come back. Unfortunately it took some time before we could return, but we were both happy to find Bajo La Luna was still open. And we were even more satisfied that our meal and the entire experience was as wonderful as we remembered. The food and ambience are excellent if you are looking for a place that is more concentrated on food than the many restaurants that have blowing dance music, please note this location. There was a guitarist, but the level was good and the selection of music was pleasant. The food was fabulous. I enjoyed a combination of fillet mignon and shrimp and my wife had cooked the fish of the day in a curry sauce. Both were perfectly prepared with the right number of pages. I ordered a wonderful wine from Mexico that accompanied the food well. Very recommended for those interested in fine food from a local restaurant."

"Managed to make it to Pastis before it closed for work to be done on the building. Ambience and atmosphere was great what you expect from a big, busy brunch venue on a sunny winter Sunday. I had heard about Pastis for years and when finally living in NYC, couldn't wait to go. Everything was definitely good but I must be honest that it probably didn't live up to the hype. A very good place for brunch though and I look forward to seeing what they do when they eventually reopen."
