"SOOOO disappointed! Our second brunch while in town for a wedding and we should have skipped out while we had the chance. Walked in and the hostess was no where to be found. The bartender finally said hello. Hostess arrives with no smile on her face. We followed her to a table, she placed the menus down and walks away. No acknowledgement, no enjoy your brunch, no nothing but a frown. I watched her repeating this to every customer that came in. Walked way in front of the customers and no acknowledgement. She needs to be terminated. Wait for our waitress who finally arrives and we order juice and coffee. And we wait and wait and wait. It 's not that crowded either. About 7 minutes later we finally get our drinks. Order brunch and wait some more. My coffee is empty by the time our brunch arrives. My DH pancakes are ice cold and my french toast is barely lukewarm. But of course, our waitress is nowhere to be found. I eat my egg (I hate eating it alone) and we try the bacon. Finally the waitress reappears and takes our food away and says she 'll send over the manager. He comes and does apologize but my DH doesn 't want anymore pancakes; they were so dense and unappetizing he passes. I 'm still hungry so they refire my breakfast that is at least warm this time around. But I 'm not so hungry either and don 't finish. We 're ready for our check and guess what? No waitress. Once we find her she asks if the manager talked to us about our bill. No we reply. Well he 's going to comp both your meals. Thanks but that 's as it should be. We just want to pay and get out of there but that takes at least another 5 minutes. Do yourself a favor and hit up The Egg Shell down the street."
