"After a hour flight to SYD and continuing to Brisbane right away we were very jet kagged and hungry next morning. I definitely needed a Flat White and a quick bite. And here there was Pie Face. Good coffee and freshly baked delicious items...(salty/sweet) and sandwiches were greatly appreciated. It looked like a steady stream of locals on their way to work were also making a quick stop. We tried few different locations and different baked items and were always satisfied. But remember this is a quick fast food outlet nothing fancy. But it served the purpose."

"Over priced, took forever, soggy bagel, wrong orders, coffee not showed up. Everything went wrong.<br>

I ordered Muffin & Coffee set (ordered chocolate muffin and latte), described a bagel which I had previously (last year) it was very nice - cream cheese and smoked salmon was in it.<br>

I waited for long for the order to come though, I was running out of time, standing in front of the coffee lady and I told her my name, and asked her if my order of chocolate muffin, latte and salmon bagel is coming any soon. Without checking, she just replied "it's coming soon just wait".<br>

When the bagel and muffin are ready in the bag and handed to me, I asked so where is my coffee. The coffee lady answered me "oh, did you order a coffee? I don't have the order here" I told her I've ordered latte, and she kept on repeating "I'll check, I'll check. I'll check" but wasn't really checking- I told her to leave it, as I was already too late to leave the place so I left.<br>

I'm very disappointed with her attitude - If she listened to my enquiry of chasing up the order earlier, she wouldn't have missed my coffee, unfortunately, instead, she just couldn't be bothered to listen to what I was waiting for, or checked the order or progress, and just replied" it's coming", without checking.<br>

When I asked her to check and she didn't check, when I needed to run she said let me check. How ridiculous, I didn't have the time for her to check when she should have done much earlier.<br>
<br>
I ended up running out from the café without a coffee for the morning, and also when I had my bagel, another disappointment - turned out to be NOT the bagel I ordered - instead of with cream cheese I specified, it was with microwaved "scramble" eggs. The bagel was so wet, soggy and chewy that I couldn't eat it but into the bin.<br>

I'm glad that at least I'm not allergic to eggs, otherwise that wrong order could have been even worse.<br>
<br>
Wrong orders, orders not turned up...all the disappointments.<br>

"After I have read so many positive reviews of this patisserie, I decided to go for exploration. It was one Sunday morning in July. When I first stepped in the shop, I found that there were so many bagels and other varieties of pastries. Initially I decided to have a bagel but I changed my mind when I saw the triangle with feta and spinach. Therefore, I ordered the flat white and a triangle. Well, flat white with Merlo was done up with above average standard, which may be due to my bias on Merlo. However, there was definitely no regret on the decision of having triangle. The pastry was crispy I loved the mix of feta with spinach, they were very tasteful. Overall, it was a decent experience. Recommended."

"Go there with my G/F friend for both morning tea and lunch. The coffee is really good. Also we enjoy the gf pies and bagels. They also do really nice gf slices. I don't normally like gf food but I've enjoyed everything I've tried at...this cafe. The food is really good and you're not limited by gf choice as in some cafes, they have a lot of variety."

"Met a friend here for breakfast the other day. Firstly I like the look and feel of the cafe. I thought the menu was good but when I went up to order I was ignored for ages. Several staff members were behind the counter busy but couldn't be bothered. When I eventually ordered, the girl behind the counter actually leaned over me and started talking to another staff member. Just clueless service. My breakfast itself was actually very nice (corn fritters, my friend had the mushrooms and liked). There are so many great places to have breakfast so I wouldn't bother going back here."
