"This year – at least in phase – already made 1 March to the month of the month. Covered wooden beams fit into the otherwise more modern atmosphere rustic. Large-format impressions from home brought some color to the guest room, brightly illuminated by headlights and hanging lights, where about 60 people found space. 2 On the corridor to the wet rooms I landed on an idyllic terrace that would be honored for every lukewarm summer evening. In addition, a subsidiary room for companies and/or celebrations was on the right side. For thirst we ordered a liter filtered and carbonic acid added water 5 euros from the source behind the house or the cock. The blunt water was called "Trifelsperle" here, and it made its name all honor because it was later very in our glasses and the Reichsburg was not far. My colleague unloaded his beer sausage unconventionally with a bottle of herbs fresh Karlsberg Urpils 0.33l for 3.30 Euro, the famous FCK brewery of Homburg in Saarland. In my opinion, it would not have been necessary because tastefully the liquid cream use of the otherwise perfectly prepared Zuppa di Pomodoro did not bring any profit. But maybe I'm a purist who honors the lactose-free, spiced red. To the soups were a small basket with bright bread, probably kneaded from the same dough as our two pizzas, which we should take as main dishes soon to us. My Zuppa di Pomodoro My colleague praised his correspondingly tomatized vegetable soup, which scored with neat, not completely softly cooked recreational use. The rich Italo territory was a proven craft based on simple but tasty Trattoria tradition. After a pleasant waiting period, our empty soup plates were replaced by two heart-coated yeast products from the pizza oven. I moved towards “Calabria”, which was delivered as a medium-sized car wheel with a diameter of 29 cm and various pig rows for now “normal” 12.50 euros. Two varieties salami sharp and normal as well as small fried minced meat sticks were finished by fresh mushrooms. Pizza Calabria Definitely not a cover for the advocates of pure round bakery, but a handmade fanal against healthy folk hunger. However, why I calculated 0.50 Euro Extra for the Paprikasalami, this was shown in the map as a standard cover... withdraws my knowledge. I noticed the little pecuniary “subjubler” only when the account in this report was more accurate. Certainly a mistake that could be solved on site without problems. My Calabria in detail My colleague made it even more embarrassing. Its large pizza “Diavola” 12 Euro was not less burdened. A more modern interior can also have its cosy corners. Of course we remember this friendly family company for upcoming calorie combinations after strenuous climbing tours around Annweiler, which is a recommendation."

"...and a pretty black top! It is late July or early August 2022. My wife and I travel together with my mother and daughter in the Palatinate Forest. Our goal is the Forsthaus Annweiler, which we have been happy to take as a starting point for short hikes since its gastronomic restart 2019. Especially the round hiking trail to nearby cherry rocks and backs is recommended as a relaxed family tour. It is not too long and offers magnificent panoramic views over the wooded mountains of the Palatinate Forest. Since the fox came to the forest house, there is also a not despised culinary aspect that makes us taste the way of Wörth. Because where Fox and Hase usually say “Good Night!” a “Black Fox” made it comfortable. The term is the West Palatinate Mike Neubrech, who has acquired the former forest restaurant at the end of 2016 and has refurbished the estate that has come into the years. This is already evident from small things, such as the soundproofed ceiling and the renewed wooden floor in the guest room. View into the guest room We found the beautifully landscaped outdoor barbecue area with fireplace and self-supporting flame cake and bread oven made of sandstone. Summer, Sun, Saumagensalat At our first visit at the end of July the Saumagensalat seduced me with frits of 9.80 euros, in which my wife was helpful to me. She herself later depressed a neat piece of the covered apple cake, which I unfortunately could not catch in the picture. The Saumagensalat, made with a wonderfully acidic Vinaigrette – next to a 1A-use dinner – got additional anger from the cut red onions. Saumagen in salad format In addition to the cubes of meat served spirits in a bowl, some spring onion was added and the tasty summer food gave a little more freshness. You can also eat in shape... The well-salted frites came nicely crispy on the plate and were comminuted together with a small red "indity alsa". Of course, these small carbohydrate seeds were later migrated, which in turn fell to the daughter who was transported on my back in the crisis. Repetition with curry sausage and spinach dumpling During our visit a week later my mother was also with the game. She liked it very well here too. I remember exactly how she had made it comfortable outside on a sun lounger while enjoying the time with her “heart” of our daughter, m. to the fullest. While the best grandma you could imagine was taking care of our “small meadow”, we had some time to integrate the previously ordered spinach dumplings with mountain cheese and generous salad supplement 12.80 euros as well as the almost obscene delicious curry sausages with frits 8.90 euros. Both classics of the “Black Fox Cuisine” that will surely repeat us next year. The whole sausage was of good quality. The curry sausage with pommes This section of the intestine of the pig definitely had a butcher who dominates his craft with heart-protected brushes. For this purpose, the really very fine, not too tightly dimensioned curry sauce that would have promised the Herta Heuwer 's sausage sky to any x-loving snack bar. The frits were as crispy as a week before and could be enjoyed together with the Curry tub. My heart lady also praised her fluffy spinach dumplings, which certainly came from the in-house cloning. Spinach dumplings with mountain cheese and salad The leaf green blows over it and the tasty, decorated with some raw food and Quinoa rounded off this formidable vegetable cellar sufficient. Again my wife and I agreed that we had rarely eaten better in a plum forest claw. The following round hike from the Waldhaus Annweiler over the Eiderberg and back again was a very special one for us. One that my wife and I will remember for a long time, as unfortunately it cannot be repeated in this constellation.
