"I have a spicy Pesto pizza and while the crust tasted well, the pizza was missing. The pesto was almost completely tasteless, some salt would have brought it a little more together. Would go to the fully vegan pizza shop instead next time. Edit: came back a year later and got the vegan ozzy 2.0 and so good!! It would come back. Updated by previous review on 2022-01-31"

"On recommendation of a family member who took a flight on the bai360, we have booked a table on the melrose. we chose both the hot fish plate that contains grilled hake, salmon cod and fried scampi, calamari and chips. the fish was well cooked and excellent tasting. we would have resigned to a visit. £15.95 per (plus 10% service fee.) the personal was friendly."

"I have previously visited Very Italian Pizza on several occasions and always told people that it was the very best pizza you could find anywhere in Brighton. However, my last visit was a little lacking. Service wasn't great. We weren't offered any water and getting the attention of waiting staff to order and get a bill was difficult. I understand that it gets busy but it was if we'd been forgotten. The food was very generous in its portion size. The pizzas are very big and we were offered doggy bags for the amounts we couldn't eat in one go. Taste-wise, it was good but it wasn't the best pizza I'd ever had. It was nice but it wasn't the out-of-the-world pizza I'd already had before. I'll still be back and hopefully just visited on a bad day, but I was disappointed after having such high hopes for a revisit."
