"I was looking forward to trying this place as it’s a local independent and has good reviews, but unfortunately we have an awful experience. We ordered two cappuccinos, but what we were served with two watery filter coffees in latte glasses with a tiny amount of foam on top and a generous helping of instant hot chocolate. The coffees were disgusting and didn’t in any way resemble a cappuccino. My husband ordered scrambled eggs on toast. The eggs used was so old that the yolks were completely white, and he said it tasted horrible. I had sourdough toast, served with a tiny portion of margarine. All in all very disappointing, can see why it was empty when we went in."

"Excellent breakfast whilst waiting for our flight to board. Have eaten at Giraffe several times, usually in Kings Cross, but was happy to see one in Heathrow. Had a lovely , reasonably priced, fresh and tasty breakfast. Mine was smoked salmon and sourdough. My partner ordered eggs with ham and both dishes were amazing. Service was efficient and friendly, even though it was very busy. Very recommended for value and freshness out of all the cafes on offer in terminal 5"

"We stumbled across Pastaio by chance at around 9pm one evening, when many restaurants nearby were closing. We were very hungry, and pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, warm and friendly service, and reasonable prices. The rosemary foccacia was delicious and the wild garlic pesto was a stand out."

"It’s small but there’s still plenty of seating and a good number of power sockets. The staff are always friendly, the service is good and fast, and the coffees/drinks are always properly made."

"When i went to order fish chip, the owner said make a telephone order so you dont have to wait. It will be ready when you come. On the other day i made a telephone order, and the lady on phone said it will be ready in 15min. When i went there after 15 min, the que is long and they made me to wait half an hour in the que until my turn. Then after they cooked my food. What is the point of making telephone order? Please makesure when you are handling money not to touch the food. When i was waiting i saw they didnt wash hands, and when packing handling the food with hand. The owner is very good. I want to give 5 . But these things made me upset."
