"I have been to the Coq many, many times and I have had consistent tasty meals. really generous portions for a great price. Better than St Hubert express all day long.Ribs and chicken pasta are awesome. For me the ribs are better than St H. Pizza and desserts are very good.In Cowansville, there is cheap (Med) and expensive (Bogarts, Nomad) and not much in the middle. The Coq fills that void, satisfies with out breaking the bank.Breakfast is solid too!"

"Based on the reviews and the prices, we were expecting an above average experience at this Italian restaurant. The decor gets one star and the friendly waitress another star. There is nothing that will make us come back to this restaurant. Unfortunately there are no...other options walking distance from Manoir Sweetsburg, we regretted not driving 10-15 minutes to a nearby village. There was nothing memorable about the meal, The bread was cold, the tomatoes of the capresse salad were unriped, the vegetables were previously frozen, the beef of poor quality and not properly seasoned, the veal was served almost burned. Very unfortunate experience overall."
