"WHAT HAS HAPPENED???The Dongara pie USED to be an institution but is now is nothing more than a high blood pressure and/ or coronary inducing disappointment. If you like salt as a main ingredient in your pie i.e. SALT with beef and mushroom or SALT and mince with stingy filling and loads of thick under cooked pastry at a high end pie price then put it on your bucket list. Funnily enough we mentioned we went there to some locals and they commented about their in"salt"ing pie experience. Do yourself and your hip pocket a favour and give it a miss."
