"Sandwiches are the main thing during these troubles and I could not fault the ingredients, with great bread and cheese and salami and such a tasty sandwich overall, although they really skimped on the fillings. Much worse than Continental Deli's skimping but it was a bit cheaper so just about worth it. The albondigas were even better you could taste the mint and sweet Mexican flavour (I would have liked some chilli but it was still a unique flavour) and even the mash it was on was a cut above, however, they went heavy on the mash with just 5 small meatballs and only a small amount of the tomato sauce. Great food though, better food and also better value than I got from their sister Porteño."

"We have made a groupon good and had a set vegetarian dinner. eating was nice, but nothing special. reis, drilling in tomaten, falafel, hummus, tabuli, garlic potatoes. the restaurant is very split and too dark. the service was timeless, but soulless. I wouldn't go back."

"Four of us gathered at Tommy's for a farewell to a couple moving interstate. What a little gem in Glebe this place is! The room we sat in was decorated in an eclectic and charming pub style way; loved it.If you're a serious beer drinkers/taster you really need to try some of their unusual European beers. The 3 lads had a ball with the beers while I stuck to cocktails - which, by the way, were very well made.We started with nibbles such as pretzels and pork crackling, and I could have spent the rest of the night nibbling on more crackling but there were other delicious dishes to try.The 3 guys each had the Mixed Sausage Platter and all 3 raved about it. I tried the potato pancakes with horseradish cream - tasty; and then some traditional smoked cheese. The cheese was delicious albeit quite rich after everything else I had eaten!A couple close to our table recommended the pork knuckle, but there is only so much good food one can eat at a time.WE WILL BE BACK!"

"Beautiful place! The decor is amazing, cushions on the floor with low tables, very nice vibe. The food is on the pricier side but is absolutely worth it, gorgeous chicken skewers and the hummus? Perfect!"

"This restaurant is Meat Mecca for all meat eaters out there. We had the best steak and lamb everywhere. But also the Calamari was wonderful and simply melted in the mouth. But there are more... the accompanying secondary dishes were also excellent and matched the meat dishes perfectly. The service was also excellent. We'll be back."
