"I, and a group of friends, have eaten lunch here on several occasions since lockdown was lifted. We have eaten from the Pensioners Lunch menu and the A La Carte, and have been delighted with every meal. The fact that we have returned so often...is testament to the quality of the food and the staff. On Monday, I tried out the afternoon tea. I have enjoyed afternoon tea in some of the best locations in Suffolk, and even in London hotels, but this was equal to some and better than most! Everything was freshly prepared, the warm sausage rolls were unexpected and delicious and Cornish cream is always a delight. I can highly recommend both lunch and afternoon tea....but definitely not on the same day!!"

"Wow, first time we’ve visited this place considering it’s been around for 12 years and I think I’ve found my favourite place to eat in Ipswich. The food was fantastic. A wide range and choice of buffet style hot and cold home Cooked traditional foods and the meat was nothing but exceptional. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who showed us to our seat and got our drinks sorted first thing. No fuss, no waiting and to the point. He recommended a traditional Brazilian beer which was delicious. Once we were settled we were able to Collect out plates and chose the food we wanted as our side and then the meat just kept coming. Perfectly cooked and tender meats of all types were constantly brought to our table. Ranging from topside of beef to bbq lambs leg, chilli chicken and even bbq chicken hearts. All cooked to perfection on the visible rotisserie in the main restaurant area. Very reasonably priced and drink very affordable too. Perfectly seasoned meats and bursting with flavour. Especially the Brazilian sausages and chicken croquettes. The place was very well presented and the toilets exceptionally clean and well maintained. I can’t wait to go back and show friends this amazing place. 10 out of 10 Well done and keep up the good work."

"My husband and I are regular customers, so naturally we are fans. A warm welcome always welcomes us. We mainly enjoy breakfast, but a gluten-free toast option would be a welcome introduction to the menu. Service is always attentive and top notch, food fresh and hot and tasty. The cocktails are also delicious."

"Arrived at 4.45pm on a Saturday afternoon, fully aware they were due to close at 5pm we were just popping in to check the size on some outside furniture. Greeted instantly with WE ARE CLOSING IN 15 MINUTES , no hello, no welcome, no how can we help you?, no dialogue at all. Needless to say we will take our business elsewhere and tell our friends and family to do the same."
