"We ate here most nights during our week-long stay near Mayenne, as we did during our last visit in Oct 16. The food is good, straight forward, well cooked and with enough variety for most. We rarely spent more than €30 on dinner for 2 and had ample food, and occasionally a desert or coffee or wine. Plat de jour and fish of the day are €8.50. Remember the French like their food just cooked so ask for well done if you're unsure, and watch out for the occasional local delicacies. Always busy, usually couples or small family groups. The 2 TV screens are usually tuned to football but never have the sound turned up and phones stay in bags and pockets while conversation flows.9"
