"Four of us stopped here for lunch. There was only one table left outside but there were only 2 seats at it. We really wanted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. The waitress quickly brought two seats from inside for us and...gave us menus. My husband and I both had burgers which were really lovely. Our friends had shrimp salad and spaghetti carbonara. Both enjoyed their meal."

"This bar/tapas place sits just off the main square in the delightful spa village of Caldas de Monchique. There’s plenty of shade and greenery and a very peaceful atmosphere. It doesn’t do fullscale meals, but drinks, sandwiches and tapas. I would recommend the orange tart...delicious....Recommended."

"My husband and I first visited about 20yrs ago and have gone back many times. Excellent food, wine served by Jose the owner, what a lovely man and cooked by his wife. Interior has some very interesting items on the walls etc. Hope to go back again soon."
