"When we go to Casino Rama, we really like to enjoy a good breakfast. The Weirs is open for breakfast and lunch (used to be open for supper too). My husband has a big appetite and he likes the portions of the meals here. Coffee is hot and strong, just how we like it! (I wish they would still leave the pot on the table like they used to do). Also, coffee not included with every meal so we find that when you have to pay to add it, it's pretty hefty price for coffee. The lighting is low, which is sometimes inconvenient. The tables are close therefore when my father-in-law comes with us, we really have to watch how we walk around with his wheelchair. That being said, employees are always more than happy to help accommodate us.Nice variety of meals for breakfast, anything from eggs to oatmeal to breakfast poutine!Good service, always smiling servers."

"So many great and cherished memories from here. Food is delicious and wholesome. The staff and service are excellent and enjoyable to talk to. The environment and ambiance is always inviting and cozy. My girlfriend, now wife and I have been patrons since we were in high school and have always enjoyed our time here.I wholeheartedly recommend this bakery/marketplace to anyone"

"Excellent homemade hamburger and fresh cut fries, husband had hot chicken sandwich. Generous portions, friendly service, and great coconut cream pie. Busy little spot, but with our lunch tasting this good we know why, and easy on the wallet! A definite return!"

"Consistent and good all day breakfast with constant coffee refills. Great view of the bay.The restaurant is attached to the curling club and is quite spacious...no need to hurry up and eat and leave.Lunch and dinner menus are varied, and they are also licensed. Service is good generally except for busy Sundays."

"I had an appointment to go to but also had some time to kill. And it was coming up to the lunch hour. Spotted a Tim's and in I went. I decided the ham and cheddar cheese would be the choice for lunch... I came with wedges which I didn't want, but there were oatmeal raisin cookies staring at me . that with a coffee in a ceramic mug made my lunch complete .. The bread was very fresh and the ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce all more than sufficient. A good choice. Very friendly service and three different soups were offered...."

"This Kawartha Dairy is excellent. I like the Pralines and Cream here better than Baskin Robbins. They give you big scoops; twice the size of the Baskin Robbins in Vaughan. Very fair price. Black Raspberry Thunder, Blue Buried Treasure and their Raspberry Lime Sherbet are all excellent flavours as well."

"Honestly I'm completely frustrated with this restaurant. I've been trying to call ahead for 2 hours today. They leave the phone off the hook and completely ignore takeout orders. I just got out of surgery the last thing I want to do is sit and wait around in a crowded restaurant for someone to answer the phone or even to acknowledge me as I come in the door. Food's good but the service is poor. It's too bad they come so highly recommended and you can hardly get in there. It's also not an accessible building so my disabled mother cannot get into the restaurant with her wheelchair because the doors are not to code and there's no automatic accessibility either. When I went in today to even order in person after trying for 2 hours to call ahead. I wasn't even acknowledged when I came in, they actually aren't as busy as they usually are when I come in and this is the poorest service I've ever experienced."
