"The people here were amazing!! I wanted a mushroom cheese and garlic bread that wasn't on the menu but the amazing staff made it happen anyways. I had a lovely employee (Tim, legend) make it and it was better than I ever expected. The staff had a great chat with me and made me feel like I was one of the family. Don't go anywhere else!!!!"

"We ordered two pizzas, Frutti Di Porko and Ortolana. They were large and very tasty indeed. The thin based wood fired pizzas were just too big for us, but we were able to bring the uneaten pieces home. The restaurant was extremely busy and we...hadn’t made a reservation. The staff are all friendly and helpful and were able to find a table for us. They are waiting for some external renovations to be completed so that more people can be seated there. Well worth a visit and persist if you experience difficulty finding it as it is tucked away up a small laneway"

"Don't go to the restaurant if you haven't eaten all day. Expectations were not met given the high bar that the waitress set! The vibe was good and their ethical practice of sharing the profits with charity is admirable. I enjoyed the food and wine...selection was quite classy. Many of the staff are French, which gives it an authentic feel. Very nice designed interior photogenic."

"I was in Surry Hills looking for a place to have a quick breakfast and came across Mad Spuds Café. We had to wait 10 min outside for a table, but it was worth it. I had the Vegan Brekkie Stack and it was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very friendly and quick. No wonder why they were packed. I will definitely be coming back!"

"I came here for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago and ordered the salsiccia e porcini pizza. It was nice but just lacking a bit of salt I felt. I had the tiramisu for dessert. If you're not a coffee fan, I wouldn't recommend because it has a very strong coffee flavour but I did enjoy it. I'd recommend booking as it does get quite packed."

"Not much to look at but really beautiful authentic Turkish cuisines well worth the visit. No alcohol sold so BYO. The Iskender kebab, stuffed capsicum and Baba ghanoush were all great. Service was fine and despite the lack of style some atmosphere on the weekends with the belly dancing."

"Had a cocktail here while we were waiting for our table in Porteno. The cocktail was the only thing I enjoyed on that night. The staff was friendly and updated us regularly on the table readiness.
