"The first time I tried this place, I was ignored by all the workers so I left. the second time I went at 5:30 for the prime rib special. At some point, I managed to get the attention of a server who then told me that the main rib would not be ready for another hour or more so that I left back to never return."

"Toppings were very unevenly spread. Not a big deal.Service was very sub-par. No straws, no lids, no silverware, no plates (all of our pizzas were put into boxes for dine-in eating). Also, not a huge deal.When I asked for a few lids and a plastic knife for their new pizza pockets that they don't cut... eyes were rolled and the lady was snotty. Whatever, bad day. Not a big deal.When my mother (first-timer) asked for dipping sauce, the lady definitely rolled her eyes and had an attitude. That's where I had an issue.If two people called in, I get it, short staffed. But when there are 5 people working.. I don't see how things can't be stocked or have plates washed. 2 of them had an attitude, and the other 3 weren't really doing much but standing around. All combined makes for a below-average dining experience for first-timers at MOD. I've been to many MODs and had great experiences. Not this time."

"Perfect location right off the freeway. Feels more like a business hotel but lots of families vacationing here as well. Easy to access all tourist attractions in Portland without being downtown. Very friendly service from front desk staff and breakfast as well as manager’s reception teams. Rooms are recently updated. We had a king suite. Tip- for quieter room we selected the wing above the convention center so you don’t get all the noise of the atrium. We were there just as the mask mandate ended yet still appreciated the extra cleaning they put into the hotel. Need to call down for daily towel changes which was simple enough. The hot breakfast was being served with Omelette station on one side and eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and French toast on the other. Was being served by the banquet manager himself as they wait for meetings to start up again. Couldn’t have been a nicer man and I’m sure as soon as things settle down they will have big events with jus attention to detail. Same with the young man tending the manager’s reception bar was very welcoming asking us about Minnesota Tons of parking. Short walk to Washington Square mall and Target is right across the street so basically anything you need. Tip select high floor. Laundry if needed is on second floor. Felt very safe staying here in the suburbs vs staying downtown until homeless tents are addressed. Highly recommend for business or family travel. Excellent staff. Well maintained property."

"Old school family dining. Stopped in here for the first time in years... nothing has changed... thankfully! Huge portions of really really good home cookin'. The Lower Boone's Ferry Benedict starts with a base of tender biscuits.. topped with a hand formed breakfast sausage pattie that covered both biscuits and then some... scrambled eggs and then drown the whole thing in country gravy. Accompanied by a huge portion of grilled red potato's and onion. I'm a big boy... 6'6' and I can eat son. I finished exactly HALF of this monster breakfast!<br/>My sainted mother had the french dip which did not stoop to the usual deli sliced meat... oh no buddy, it was loaded with shredded pot roast! Excellent flavorful real deal beef! She was very impressed! And... I have the other half in my fridge for MY dinner.<br/>My dear father went for the 1/2 turkey sandwich on rye with a cup of homemade, chock full of veggies and beef soup. He didn't have much to say besides... MMmmMMmm...MMmmMMmmmmmm.... then the toppper... his lunch came with a slice of pie. He went for the lemon meringue, his favorite. all i can say is WOW. It was way WAY above average! And the crust was darn near as good as my granny made. Light and flaky, filled with tart/sweet lemon... awesome.<br/>It sure as heck won't be years before we go back. The halibut fish and chips looked fabulous and I do love me some halibut dunked in screaming hot oil! <br/>There is a lot to like about this place... and today anyway, not one single thing to nitpick."

"I've visited a few times now when traveling to the area for work. This would be in regular rotation if I lived there! I've yet to have a beer I didn't think was good. I liked some more than others, but that's more based on my style preferences. Even the ones that didn't suit my palate I can easily say they were still well made.As far as the space, I dig the overall vibe, indoor and outdoor. Last Thursday night's live music featured Sarah Wild, who was so good I now follow her and her band on Spotify! I'm big on being able to focus on the music OR have a conversation at your table and the volume was at the perfect level to do either.Service was friendly, very knowledgeable of the food menu, all their house made beers and wine selection. Finally, the Pub Burger was a top 10 burger: exceptional cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and hot! Looking forward to the next time I'm in town so I can come back!"

"An unopened garlic sauce in the box. Sloppy made pizza. Tast like it is dogey and not down. they take 2 dollars from your card and they expect every one to tip them. The card to the hotel rooms is not true with papa jhons. Domino's is better than PapaJohn's any day of the week. They do not what to do there job right at all. I will not ever go here again"

"I can't stay away from this place. The Spicy Dumplings and Potato Rice Crispy Corndog are definitely meeting the hype. I heard about this place on Tiktok and they were definitely worth the trip. The food is prepared quick and served hot. No in house dining but thats hardly a concern. Highly recommend if you want a quick meal that you aren't going to find anywhere else."
