"We went here after seeing TA. I’m sometimes shocked by TA and how wrong it can be. All 3 of us where disappointed as the food is really basic and little effort. If you want tea and a scone, fine. But basic food was very...average and I think it’s a 2 or 3 overall is right. I calculated what we had tonight and think I was overcharged too. I would not recommend eating here."

Emma’s lasagne is as incredible as it was last year, both James (owner) and Emma (restaurant manager) are so attentive and friendly, other staff lovely too, can’t do enough for you! all home cooked food too! "We took a chance here as it had good reviews and we're glad we did. The cod was superb and the crispy batter just perfect. The chips were good too, although they had a lot of eyes. Very friendly service too"

"Great little cafe on the seafront. Highly recommend as the food was great and reasonably priced. Cafe toilet were clean. Staff were friendly welcoming. Great place for breakfast if you want a full English breakfast."

"We had takeaway meal from here in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. So today we came and Sat in the small cafe side. Very clean, and friendly service. The food was hot and delicious. Faggots and chips and battered sausage and chips with curry sauce, really lovely curry sauce. Cannot fault the place, thank you"

"A real Cornish paper, what is not to love? as someone who grew up in plymouth, I have a romantic nostalgia for a classic ivor dewdney pasty, and to my understood and taste budds pasties from the bakehouse come very close. My only quibbles are that they don't always have one that is hot, and they are a little expensive, but since I'm not so far to drive to plymouth, every time I'm going to buy a bit."
