"Caesar salad was just ok. The taste of olive oil was too strong and the salad was over dressed. Garlic knots were good. Meat ball was delicious. Small place but very nice and friendly wait staff"

"We haven’t been to Roy’s in several months as our last experience was not great. Even though there was only a couple of tables occupied, the waitress gave us the same spiel that the chef liked to have the entire order placed at one time including dessert so they could “pace” the meal. This is the only restaurant that we’ve been to that does this and it is very off-putting. The waitress didn’t know why the chef called the special Lobster Dynamite and didn’t bother to find out for us. She wasn’t very friendly- kind of wooden. The dining attendant on the other hand couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. She even lit the fire pit for us. The ambiance and food was amazing."

"We went to roy on her last day. the location utc has been open for almost 20 years. we have gone countless times. our server, patrick, was about the years already often our server. he was very friendly, friendly and polite. he has honest, excellent recommendations for drinks and eating that we have taken to heart. we will see him and our friends the UTC location. we plan to visit the city in the future as we love the food and drinks (and excellent customer service) at roy’s."

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."
