"We had ordered out for our weekly family dinners and the food was solid. We had ordered around 12 different dishes, but a total of 18 dishes (we ordered 6 dishes twice to ensure that there was enough to eat which fed around 12 people. (The following is not all the dishes ordered since I did not eat all of them Mapo tofu: A solid 4! The mapo tofu is what you would expect, firm tofu in sauce with peas (again, huge pea stan . Each piece was nicely coated, with a little sauce at the bottom for extra coating or to add to your rice. Honey Walnut Shrimp: a solid 3.5! It was deep fried with the shell... Now I am not sure if this is usual but in my book, it was rather unusual. I have never had honey walnut shrimp with the shell still on the shrimp (you can actually eat the shell it's fine . It provided a bit of an unexpected crunch but other than that, the outer coating was nice and crunchy, sauce was as expected and the walnuts did not have its shell still on, which was a relief! Broccoli Beef: 3.5! I love broccoli, never underestimate my love for broccoli. So I was very excited for this! The beef was nice, chewy and filled with sauce. Perhaps this was my personal preference but I prefer a little more broccoli flavor in my broccoli. A lot of it, mostly the head, had soaked up the sauce and seemed a little salty, just because broccoli itself does not tend to have a salty taste. Stir Fried Green Beans: 4! Is this the correct name for this dish? I have no idea all I know is the Chinese name 四季豆. Another solid dish, I would prefer the beans a little crunchier (perhaps I like my veggies crunchier but the sauce, the squishy outside was much delici oso. Yum! But I would like to say I am biased to this dish as this is my favorite Chinese Vegetable dish. I always order 四季豆 whenever I go a restaurant. Call me a bean expert (please do not. I do not know beans very well . Sweet and Sour Pork: 4.5! A very very solid sweet and sour pork. The outside was flittered with sauce and a bite crunch! It was nicely coated in batter but the pieces of pork was big enough that it was not just all completely fried. The pork was nice and juicy, I did not have a single dry piece (on my plate, maybe I am good at choosing pieces! . It had a small side of plain broccoli which was definitely the highlight of this dish (I am also a broccoli stan . Yellow Noodles: 3 I do not know what the name of this is. I know that they were yellow and had fixings inside. Perhaps it was curry, perhaps it was not. I just thought of curry because curry tends to be yellow ish. Nevertheless, I am not a super fan. I just think I do not like this dish in general (I've had it before in other places and not a super fan . It had the smallest kick, the noodles were sad and limp but expected of the noodles traditionally used on this dish (again, just generally not a fan of the dish . Eggplant dish: I did not eat this dish because I do not eat eggplant. And again, I am afraid that I do not know the name of the dish. I blanked out once I heard eggplant since I do not eat them BUT they looked soft, chewy and covered in a delicious dark sauce. I do know that the members who do eat eggplant liked them, so I would suggest that if you too, enjoy eggplants, order them! (even though I did not provide a dish name.... TLDR: This is a very solid Chinese place with seemingly consistently good food. I encourage you to order something you think you will like and it will probably come out solid! Expectations met!"
