"We found Five Palms while looking for a piano bar. We enjoyed the ambiance and a couple of glasses of wine. It was great so we made reservations for the next night. I requested a table with a view. The hostess called and explained that the view was in another space called Oliva but that reservations were not accepted in that space. She recommended we keep our reservations in the dining room and that we could go to Oliva if a table was available. It was. So we enjoyed the dinner menu and the view. The food and service was excellent so I canceled our reservations at another upscale restaurant and made reservations for Five Palms for Christmas Eve. Before our Christmas Eve dinner, we enjoyed a glass of wine outside near the fireplace. Sadly, Oliva was closed so we couldn't enjoy the view from there but that was a minor inconvenience. The view of the Santa Catalinas from the patio was fabulous. Everything was impeccable in the dining room. The food was outstanding, The service couldn't have been better. In fact, it was like having dinner with very polite friends and family. Five Palms has four different spaces in which to enjoy food and drink. We enjoyed the concept so much we went 3 nights in a row. We've been to many great restaurants in Tucson. Few rival Five Palms."

"Service and eating were good. the only complaint I had with it had that sandwich too much on it. I had the turkey sandwich, it was good, but it was so high that I pulled out the tomats, speck and 1/2 of the truthahns and left them on the teller. also it was very cold as they had the big wall windows on the veranda open."
