"Very expensive sushi that had a lot of fish. Definitely not worth the cost. An 8-part role for 23 GBP is ridiculously expensive. Simple rolls were somewhat cheaper but not for the amount of fish in them."

"We stayed here this past week and learned that this hotel refuses to hire back their cleaning staff that they let go because of the super scary pandemic. If you refuse to care for the locals and hire them back full time, guests will begin staying elsewhere.Things you can anticipate from a hotel without daily house cleaning: unsafe living conditions due to the scary virus, lack of hygiene products, lack of clean towels etc. All of these were true about The Modern.Stay at a hotel that respects the locals and provides jobs, not one that takes them away.Queue the generic excuse and response from the hotel..."

"My group couldn't sit as 7 Hills doesn't take reservations on Sunday. I was very disappointed because my group had come together to celebrate an anniversary and after waiting over an hour we decided to eat elsewhere. They informed me that they had informed Open Table that they were not accepting Sunday reservations multiple times. I use OpenTable for all of my reservations and I've never had a problem like this."

"I have recently visited this fabulous restaurant once again. In my opinion the best Japanese ever. The quality of the fish is amazing, you cannot describe it, you have to try it. We had the special sashimi, then rolls and nigiri. White tuna was fantastic, wow. Gyoza is a classic, always good to eat. Thanks to the Japanese owner and his wife."
