"We stopped in after seeing that they had several great vegan options for sushi on the menu. Unlike many sushi places where the veggie rolls are an afterthought, at Kizuna I really felt like they were prepared with the same presentation and quality as the fish-based options. The flavor was sooo good. We will be back. Good atmosphere and music as well!"

"Some of the best sushi I?ve had in NYC. It does not matter where you live in the 5 Burroughs it?s worth taking the time to come to this restaurant! Order the Omakase as a celebration, I tried to taka sushi sushi. The owner brings in only finest andfreshest fish you can get. This is not inexpensive but it is much more affordable then what you would get in Manhattan if youcan even find this good quality. Please note while the food is perfect this restaurant is owned and operated by the owner/sushichef and his wife who works the front door. The service is quirky and can be on the slow side as there is mostly the owner atthe sushi counter. The hot menu from the kitchen is just good as the sushi. You might as well be in Japan. Best miso soup also.I loved the black cod and yellow tail Kama. I can?t recommend it enough."

"Went with a friend and even though they were super busy and there was a wait, we were seated pretty quickly. atmosphere was very nice and the service was astounding. i will 100% go back and recommend to friends. wonderful service and the food was delicious"

"Went in for Lunch and arrived at 11:25 AM for Hibachi. Grill still had reminance of rice all over it. Should have left then but I figured they would clean it before they cooked. Also knowing we were the first ones there because they didn't open until 11 ordered water and a sweet tea. Then when we went to order I ordered steak and Chicken Hibachi and wife was ordering shrimp Tupra roll and salad but we was told that we both had to order Habachi to be able to eat there. Mind you this is lunch and just my order for lunch was 18.95 so total bill would have been around 40.00 so we left and went to Soho Hibachi just up the street where we ordered the same thing and had outstanding service for 22.40 Kobe has went way down on food and service since the new ownership.
