"The ambiente is modern and stylish, the service is friendly and attentive. Eating options good, but the quality of the food is very dirty, for example two of us chose the same dish but with different sauces, the mushroom sauce was delicious, but the tomato sauce was watery and tasteless. the other problem is, it seems to be a hurry, very much they go there to have a meal, then don't leave his an evening as such. we arrived at 7.30 and left shortly after 9, which is a short evening when they pay £40 per head. how it has potential"

"We usually love going to the Rutland and Derby, and were really excited about the pop-up whirlpool. We were very disappointed with our experience. We think we might have a new server that we all need to learn, but the service was pretty slow, we had to ask for menus and catch someone's eye to order more drinks. The crack was so heavy that we wanted to eat it. The olives were beautiful. We had half the chicken, the beef on Brioche, the lawn and the mash. The chicken was really dry, although the flavors were really delicious. Slav was okay, Masche was amazing. We fed this back to a server and she said it would be back to the kitchen, but no excuse from it. We asked about Desserts and another server said she had to check what's left. Over 10 minutes later she returned, but from where we sat, we could see in the kitchen and she was chatting there all the time. She let us know that the Toffe pudding was all that was left. We ordered that, but when it came It wasn't the chocolate ice as advertised, but vanilla. And the sponge was extremely dry. We asked a server about it, and again well 8 minutes later she returned and said that the menu was changed the day before, but had not been updated. it looked like the person next to him had the ice you took the dessert from the bill. We asked for the bill, but when it arrived, we were charged and it had to be redeemed again. not for pudding, but for extra small plates we didn't have! Overall, we would say that some things were nice, others moderate and others were not good at all."

"Delicious food, homely atmosphere and possible the best calamari I've ever had. Highly recommend all the dishes we tried, food was all bursting with flavour, the highlight for me being the calamari. The service was good but was more relaxed then some people might expect but for me it kept with the atmosphere of the place."

"We had a pretty bad experience. On the positive side, they seem to offer a vegan option as standard for each course and it is clearly marked on the menu. It was £22 for the 2 course Sunday lunch menu, from which all of us ordered. The meat eaters were served large hearty meals with veg bowls on the side, but the vegan option was SO small and there was no protein element at all, it was a small tomato filled with a spoon of couscous, a trunk of broccoli and a small potato rosti. We deleted our plates in 2 minutes. Our family offered to share the veg from their meals, but it wasn't vegan. They had so much food that they couldn't finish everything. There were no pages available to order for us and the menu was presented as if the main course was all you need. We were so hungry when we came home, we both had to eat a complete second lunch later. The dessert was also tiny and there was almost no taste except sugar. Service was a bit abrupt and rushed, but had worse. None of us would go back."
