"Enjoy here with a small group or Plus ANNEX drinks are a great price, appetizers and entrees never disappointed. Calamari is better here than most places, love the French onion soup. The wedge is usually hard on dressing, always get it in the side. Burgers are amazing for a good lunch. My favorite is the fillet steak salad. All and all you might want on a salad has added pictures to Google). It will be loud, so do not expect to come for a quiet first date ambience, but this is b/c it is such a popular picturesque place. It's definitely a favorite stop."

"My fiancée and I recently came here to our anniversary after having an excellent meal here with friends a few months ago. Joe didn't disappoint. The hostess sat immediately in a comfortable stand and, almost immediately, our waitress came and went with us through the menu, described articles we asked, and took our drinks orders an espresso Martini for me and a blue lavendar for my fiancé. Both were refreshing and delicious. Later we ordered a dirty Martini and a Prosecco again, both wonderful. For appetizers we ordered both Calamari and Parmesan Black Garlic Truffle Fries with spicy aioli, and for dinner ordered my engaged Fatuccini Alfredo with chicken, and I ordered Pasta DuCale shrimps, scallops, crabs, mussels and Calamari in a lemon tomato broth sown with thin spaghetti. Both meals were excellently cooked, and perfectly seasoned, and each ingredient was on its own a rare performance. You can taste everything separately in the dishes, but enjoy the harmony they all created. It was one of the best meals we had in some time. For Dessert we shared the expertly designed Tiramisu. Sooooo good! It was a big piece and it took us both to work for a while, but we killed it! Peoria, Illinois can escape to the many fine restaurants here, and Joe is one of those places. Evenings are busy at Joe's, so I would suggest reservations. You're gonna love Joe's!"

"My awesome wife and I found this place through a Google search and it was a lirrle out of the way in a unexpected area. We both really loved this place. The food was fantastic, beautiful presentation, amazing flavors, very nice portions, price was also very decent, we tried several dishes and each one was more delightful then the last. Yes we will debe coming back here. This is a must try!"

"Great Experience at Jim's. This is my first time in Peoria, so I can’t compare the current establishment to Jim’s of days gone by, but I can say my buddy and I had a great experience. <br/ <br/ Good: <br/ The food was fantastic. I ordered the filet and scallop and was very pleased. The steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The scallops were accompanied by a sweet spicy chili sauce that was quite nice. <br/ Service was great. Linda was a delight and took very good care of us.<br/ Atmosphere. You get the feeling they’ve done things a certain way for a long time. Sure it’s a little stodgy and in a basement, but that’s part of the charm. It truly is a case of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.<br/ <br/ Not So Good: <br/ When we walked in there was no one to greet us, but a server quickly spotted us wandering around the lobby and herded us to a table.<br/ “Jim’s” special dressing and the salad were not spectacular<br/ They were booked for a special event the following night so we couldn’t go back.<br/ <br/ Conclusions: I will be back next time I come to town."
