"Le Gourmandine was recommended to us as being the best restaurant in Pont Audermer and we thought it probably was. Serving genuine, authentic, local produce which is well cooked and very tasty. The portions are large; you will be asked to choose a dessert when...you order (normal in France) and on our second visit it was so good we came twice in a week we passed on pudding as we knew we would be quite royally stuffed by then! The waitress is delightful and service is friendly and efficient, though who is rushing?"

"A warm welcome was followed by a meal of the highest quality carefully selected ingredients, many of them sourced locally, cooked innovatively and to perfection, and presented with style: nouvelle cuisine but with generous portions. This was a meal to savour, and we would have no hesitation in visiting the Auberge whenever we're in the area. A good wine list, too next time we'll take a taxi!"
