"Absolutely fabulous so delicious , After a day of skiing we picked up dinner on the way home, 2 adults and an 11 year old girl, we grabbed two small salads but it was more than enough without and had meat left. Totally recommend this, Thank you"

"...If you’re looking to sample fresh seafood, then Fishbone is the place. The menu changes daily depending on the catch and whilst the restaurant is decidedly kitschy in that ‘I will put anything fish related on the walls’ kinda way, you won’t be noticing it when a plate of freshly opened Bluff oysters is put in front of you. You might find green lipped mussels, flounder, monkfish or crayfish on the menu but if it’s just a serve of classic fish and chips you want, Fishbone will deliver on that front too...."

"I had been here many years before it was a 5.0 meal. The venison was just incredible. This time, because of the size of our group, we had to order from the banquet menu which limited our options slightly. Overall, the food was exquisite; an amazing venison entrée followed by a lamb main that was a little bit tasteless and a chocolate cake type dessert that was rich and delicious (I was told the creme brulee was also magnificent). However the service, while being adequate for the venue, left a bitter taste in the mouth. The single waitress served $10 a bottle water to the table, and when asked to just serve tap water as we didn't want any special mineral water, she became snappy and rude for the remainder of the evening. We knew it was an expensive dinner, but we didn't expect to or want to pay for the water."

"We had the degustation menu along with some extra orders. First thing we noticed is the Japanese staff! Always a great sign at a Japanese restaurant. There's a reason why this establishment has such high reviews. Service was excellent, food was delicious and generous for a degustation menu! Mouth watering flavours and an adventure with each spoonful. Only thing to note was that the ventilation wasn't that good in the room. Aside from that, we were thankful we were recommended this professional restaurant! A must try when you're in Queenstown. One of the best meals we had in New Zealand!"

"We have been to the Taj 3 times now and its now one of our favourite restaurants. From the moment we are greeted at the door the customer service is excellent. Food is not the usual NZ Indian fare with plenty of unknown foods to sample and yet most of the the usual stuff still available. Fantastic flavours and good quantities, well presented. Highly recommended and we'll be back there soon."
