"Friday night dinner. Place is small and it fits about 20 people at the most. We came here in a whim with no reservation and luckily we were able to get a table but only had an hour to eat. definitely recommend making a reservation as I saw a couple parties get turned away. Ordered sashimi, cheese mentaiko dumplings, Goya champuru, habuya soba, and miso nasu. Sashimi was thick cuts off salmon, hamachi and tuna. All were fresh and great, tuna was a little tough. Cheese mentaiko is fried dumplings of cream cheese and mentaiko. Probably my least favorite as the mentaiko flavor was subtle still good though. Goya champuru is Goya,tofu and spam stir fried, Goya is probably and an aquired taste and is very bitter but good iykyk. Habuya soba was thick noodles in a clear broth topped with 2 thick cuts of pork. Really recommend this one. Miso Nasu another highlight of the meal, the eggplant was soft with thick tender chunks of pork. Highly recommended, probably great with some rice Overall a great meal. This place has a lot Of character."

"It's like one of those places where families come together for a good meal. Everything here tastes great, especially the Clam Chowder. You have to try the $1 Oyster Mondays, nothing beats this deal. External tables are available, both front and back areas. If you stay comfortably inside, there is a bar as well as tables. They also offer take-out, although there is no board pickup. There are enough parking spaces, large credit cards accepted. Very recommended if you like seafood!!"

"Service was excellent. Food was good. They have a nice wine selection. You cannot beat the view here. However I ordered the boneless ribeye and they served it cut with a sauce? Who does that? I wish they would have told me they were going to cut it. I would have told them not to because it takes away all the juice and flavors that the ribeye has. I was disappointed that they cut it. Other than that, everything else was really good."

"The important part is the food. We had ponzu scallops, an Ahi poki tower, the cedar plank salmon, and the seared Ahi. Now, Dave and I both eat a lot of fish, being sushi fanatics. This meal was incredible. The seafood here was on another level. The ponzu scallops were delicate and tangy, chilled in clamshells with a little squeeze of lemon. The poki tasted great, with tuna that wasn’t over-seasoned; it’s an old trick at sushi places to give you older fish that’s heavily spicy to mask the flavor, but this tuna was perfectly fresh. Dave’s seard Ahi was also delicious and minimally seasoned to allow the fish to speak for itself. My cedar plank salmon was light and moist, with that smoky flavor just locked right into the meat. The head chef shared with us that a lot of cedar planks for sale don’t have the fragrant, distinctive qualities that really impart great flavor, so Bluewater has cedar planks specially made just for them. And you can taste it."
